What exactly is an honor bar? The room we have booked for our next trip in July has an honor bar listed.

Its a small mini-fridge with a lock on it. It's stocked with a variety of snacks and beverages, alcoholic and not. If you remove anything from it you'll be charged for the removed item--the prices are listed on a sheet nearby. You will also pay tax and a gratuity on these items.

If you do not leave a credit card or cash deposit, or are under 21 they will not give you the key.

You also may refuse the key at check-in.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if that's what it was and how to make sure we aren't charged if it was. If there is a key, I will not take it at check-in and that will keep from having any question of who took what later.
