I was invited to go on a mission to Vietnam/Cambodia as an OR nurse. Since I might be going that far I was thinking of going to Hong Kong Disneyland. Anyone been there? I have been trying to see if there are packages (resort/park/dining)? Cant find anything on Dreams Unlimited site or the Hong Kong Disneyland site. I am not sure whne the mission os but as a Disney nut I jumped on looking to go here. Thanks for any help.:thumbsup2

Well, I found a package discount offer, but it's not going to help you since it's a group thing (buy 2 or 3, get 1 free)

Oh! Well here's a list of their Hotel packages:

This is the Overview page for all the offers:

Hope that helps!

I've been each of the past two Novembers and highly recommend it! It's a wonderful little park and Hong Kong itself is worth a visit, anyway. The first time I stayed, getting the annual pass almost paid for itself with the hotel discounts and I was just there for 3 days (2 nights). I swore I would go do something else in Hong Kong, but kept going back to Disneyland. I don't think they have an annual pass anymore, but it might be worth checking into the discounts offered on their frequent visitor passes. Toy Story Land has just opened (I was there opening weekend last November) and Mystic Manor should be opening sometime this year.

If you can swing it, I would also try to get to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, while you're in East Asia. It's a lot more expensive, but the parks are definitely worth the trip! I got by eating snacks, instead of meals, and by hitting up the convenience stores (including 7-Eleven - yeah!) for noodles, sandwiches, rice and drinks.

Was just at HK Disneyland. 5 years ago when I went, the park was practically empty. This time, it was packed. It looks like they're finally drawing the crowds.

Waited forever to get on the Slinky Dog ride and it lasted less than a 30 seconds or seemed to. :lmao:

Didn't stay at one of the hotels this year but last time we stayed at the Hollywood hotel. It was quite nice and a bit cheaper than the main hotel. Bus transportation was very easy.

Did you love the queue for Slinky Dog? I think they did a great job in Toy Story Land! I've stayed at the Hollywood Hotel both visits and feel like it's my home away from home. HKDL is my second favorite Disney park (unless I'm in one of the others and then that's my favorite :cloud9:)!

It's a beautiful little park (emphasis on the word "little"!) - like "Disneyland Lite". I recommend a visit if you're in the area. If you look on the various HKDL discussion boards there are photos and videos of the three new lands - Toy Story (open), Grizzly Gulch (opening next - looks AMAZING) and Mystic Manor (opening last).

There are some photos and thoughts in my trip report from a few years ago: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2178028. "Other trip reports are available".
