Honeymooning May 31 - June 7, 2015

Hey all,

My fiancee and I are getting married on May 30th, 2015 and the next day ship off to WDW. We've already booked our trip through Disney, and are staying at the Contemporary - Garden View. We have an 8 day hopper pass and the Memory Maker. We opted to not go for the Dining Plan, as the Deluxe is too expensive for us and we probably would get too much food.

I've never planned such a big trip all by myself. To be honest, it's a bit nerve-wracking and I'm a little anxious about how inexperienced I am and don't want to miss out on deals or events I should be looking into.

If anyone has any advice to make our honeymoon that much more special, we'd greatly appreciate it.

HEY,

I am actually planning my fiance and I's 2016 Honeymoon right now and I am researching ideas to make our honeymoon special. Here are some of the ideas I have found/come up with.

1. Special Dinners- Character Dinners, and Dinner shows

2. Special Events will only be known when you get closer to your trip. The days these go on are some of the most crowded days at the park. Extra Magic Hours are also very crowded so you may want to avoid those.

3. Explore more then the parks, take a day off and go to Disney Springs

4. Go to different resorts to eat, different types of food at each resort.

5. Don't be afraid to spend the extra money on Memory Maker, looking through the details (i am trying to convince her that it's worth it but she isn't biting.)

This is just a little bit of what I've found on these boards and other sites.
