Honeymoon

We are coming to Disney for our honeymoon. Is there anything special that Disney does for honeymoons? Should we tell our resort it is our honeymoon???

We came last year for my bday and i got pins and an awesome pic of Minnie showing some leg!!!

I am not sure what they will provide for you on your honeymoon but it is worth telling them. When we got married at the Disney Wedding Pavilion we were staying in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for a couple of weeks. When we checked in we automatically got upgraded to concierge room. We had booked an payed for an upgrade anyway via our Tour Operator but we were then upgraded again for free on arrival. Good luck and hope you get some free treats also.

We did a WDW honeymoon. I noted it on all of our reservations, and of course, told anyone who would listen. We got an upgrade upon check in at our resort. Some places, we got a free dessert or champagne, or just wonderful heartfelt congratulations. We wore bride & groom ears in the parks, and had other guests congratulating us, and got fastpasses for BTMRR from a CM. It was a really fun time, and going into it not expecting anything special made everything extra that much more magical.

wearing the bridal ears does get you a bit of attention. we had breakfast at CRT and we got two CRT champagne glasses. they're my favorite souvenior. we mostly got lots of congratulations and best wishes, but we weren't looking for any kind of perks. being there was the perk. don't get me wrong, getting free upgrades and things are nice. but hey, if you wear the ears, you can't go wrong. you know what would also be great, it's something that i wish i did but didn't think of it until it was too late, get your wedding date put on your ears so people will see you are just married. that would definitely help you get some perks and attention.
