Hello all!!! For my honeymoon, my fiance and I are staying at the Contemporary resort on the 14th floor Conceirge level room. So excited about that! We are going to be there for 10 days, June 14-24th, 2008. And so well my fiance has been really helpful with all the wedding planning, helping out as much as he can, actually giving his opinion on what to do and stuff like that. You know stuff that normally guys would not really care about when planning a wedding so while we are in Disney I want to suprise him with something or do something nice for hims to show him how thankful I am to him for all he has done. But my problem is that I have no idea what I could suprise him with!:headache:

So I am wondering if any of your disney lovers have any ideas for me that I can do for my fiance while we are in disney? like maybe a special dinner or something, I don't know, my mind if going blank! I am trying to be creative but nothing is coming to mind! HELP!!! :) :confused3

Thanks to all that responds!

How much do you want to spend?

I signed up for the Around the World Segway tour at Epcot...and my DH LOVED it!! It was pretty much the highlight of the trip for him (after the wedding, of course;) ) It's about $80/person but there are discounts available for AAA, Disney Visa, and AP holders.

One bride got the Richard Petty Driving Experience for her DH. It's a little more pricey (I'm not even sure of the cost) but I remember her saying her DH was ecstatic!

You might consider something more romantic like a Wishes or Illuminations cruise. (Again, not sure of the price, but it's between the two previous options).

The folks at the Contemporary Concierge should be able to schedule any of these for you and will most certainly be able to suggest some other things too!

Hope that helps some, and I'm sure others will have more suggestions for you!

Thanks! Those are some great ideas! I mean I don't want to spend too much more money since we are really going all out for the resort with the concerige but those sound like awesome ideas!! I think I might look more into the Wished or Illumination cruises. Do you have any idea how much those cost? Do you think that the conceirge would be able to help me out with that? Thanks again!!

:goodvibes

Thanks for all the great info, Right now I am looking into the Around the World Segway tour at Epcot, it seems like an awesome expierence!!! I am going to look into everything you sugessted. Then I will contact the concerige at the contemporary, do you think it is too early to contact them being it a little less than 11 months til we go?

There are more segway tours now (I think Fort Wilderness has just started one), but we LOVED the Epcot one!

I have to laugh about contacting concierge...I think it's probably just a little early;) Your enthusiasm is contagious though! They will actually contact you about 90 days before your trip.

If there are things that you want that book really fast, you'll want to book those at 180 days out, and you can probably contact concierge then. Their email address is: wdw.contemporary.concierge@disney.com

They'll work with you to get any special things you want/need. And they'll take excellent care of you!

Oh cool, I will look into that one too!

Yea I guess I might be too excited, I just hope that my fiance would like it, I think he will but you never know and I don't know if I would be able to keep this secret from him! It will be sooo hard to do and plus once we got in Disney, it would be hard for me to still keep it a secret but I dunno. I should find out somehow if he would like to ride a Segway! :rotfl: :rotfl2:
