Do all th deluxes have honeymoon suites? If so, are some nicer then others? TIA :)

:confused3 I don't know about all the deluxes, but we stayed at the WL, and it was nice, the room has a king bed, and a whirlpool tub in the bath. At the WL the rooms are off the Lobby hallway. It was nice and quite, and since it was on the club level it had that extra disney magic :goodvibes It has only been DH and I, but we will be going again and staying in the honeymoon suite.---- so to make a long story short..... here is a bump to see about the other suites :Pinkbounc

As I understand it, the WL and GF are the only places with a designated "honeymoon suite" Other hotels seem to have rooms that are comparable but are not specifically named as such. We were supposed to stay in the GF HM suite for our HM last Sept, but Hurricane Jeanne supposedly ruined that according to them and we didn't get to stay there. (I don't recommend the GF for this reason.... they were NOT accomodating and quite rude to me). WE plan to stay in the WL HM suite in Dec.

Thank you :)
My sister has decided to go to WDW for her honeymoon and the resort she seems to like the best is WL so maybe they'll get the HM suite. Thanks again for your responses.

The Polynesian has the newest Honeymoon suite on property and it is called a Honeymoon suite. It is located in the Tonga suite building facing the marina with a view of the castle and fireworks. Everything inside the room is new including a new flat panel TV and jacuzzi tub. Here are some photos.

You not only have access to the concierge lounge in the Hawaii longhouse but you have your own separate smaller lounge and concierge desk in the Tonga longhouse.

Aloha

ahhhh, the Poly, my dream resort. :goodvibes
Steve, thanks for the info. I'll be passing it along to her.

I love the look of the honeymoon suite at the Polynesian! We love the garden suites at the Boardwalk. Lots of room, very romantic and fantastic jacuzzi tub and shower.

tubachick,
Can you tell me more about the Honeymoon Suite at WL. Besides the king bed, is there additional sleeping accomodations? Is there a separate sitting are? :flower:

Hi! I have been lurking here for a few days, now I have a reason to register. I stayed in one of the WL HM suites in 1997. The suite features the aforementioned king size bed. There is a "sitting area," but it's just a small, round table with one wood chair and a nice, comfy arm chair.

The TV is in a large armoire across from the foot of the bed. There is a double vanity outside of the bathroom. The bathroom is amazing. The whole bathroom is done in marble tile. The faucet is one of the "waterfall" variety. Someone mentioned earlier that the room had a whirlpool tub. Unless they were installed after our stay (possible), it's just a really nice tub!

The balcony is very private, but the view is not that great. We were on the bus stop side of the building (opposite MK); the rooms on the other side may have a better view. The balcony has two plastic chairs and a small table.

We really loved our stay. The HM rooms are on the top floor, so there's no noise from above. Furthermore, these are the only four rooms on the floor, so there's not much traffic up there.

One warning, though. Because the rooms are in the main lodge building, they border the lobby. As you have probably read, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is a loud, festive place. Well... guess what? It's in the lobby of the WL. Guess what else... They ring a very large triangle each morning at about 7, yelling "come and git it!" It woke us up every morning. Not a big deal; we thought it was hilarious.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

iteachlit has it right on the money.

Here are a few pics for you of the room right off the elevator.

view from the balcony sitting down, it is enclosed so you would have to stand to see the bus area, it is quite here, not too much noise from the traffic. (IMO)

Here is a pic of the bed, it is most of the room the table is to the left of the pic-- I was standing in the hall of the room to take the pic.

Here is a pic of the wardrobe and hall which leads to the sinks and tub/toliet area.

Here is a pic of the dresser in the hallway near the closets.

and lastly the tub area in the bathroom. (please ignore our tolietries)

we did not feel that WL made too much noise, we only heard the bell once or twice (with our door closed).

Hope this was helpful

Enjoy

a little more on the honeymoon suite...

It costs a bit more than the other club level rooms, but I believe the space is the same, the main difference being the bath tub. We stayed in a different club level room for our "real" honeymoon and it was just as nice, the view was of bay lake, the balcony there is also enclosed, so you had to stand for the view too. We did enjoy the quite with no rooms attached to our walls, but now the room we had stayed in is adjacent to the new lounge area, so who knows what the noise level will be when they reopen that room and the new lounge area 100%.

I think the BWI Garden Cottage Suites are just lovely. They are not called "Honeymoon" suites, but they look incredible. Kinda like having your own little house at WDW. :goodvibes
