Honeymoon September 2006

My fiance and I will be vacationing at WDW for our honeymoon from September 6-12,2006.We will be staying at the Pop Century Resort.This is my first time at WDW but my fiance has been there 20+ times.I would like to talk with other WDW honeymooners,especially if you will be there at the same time I will.

I'm not sure when we'll get to WDW again...but our first anniversary will be September 20...we were in Disney for our wedding and honeymoon!

It is WONDERFUL!!!

Make sure to get the wedding ears (top hat for your groom and headband for you) and wear them as often as you feel like it. They can bring some "extra pixie dust" sometimes!

Also, you can get a special "magical moments" pin at Guest Services at each of the parks that might bring some pixie dust too!

Have you and your fiance planned any special things for your trip? Any special dinners or tours or anything like that?

I just wanted to say congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon!!
I second the bride and groom ears and or the pins. and make sure you let your resort and any dining adrs know that it's your honeymoon. you never know what might happen!
Although, our most magical moment was from another guest.

My fiance has already ordered and received our honeymoon attire to wear at the World.I absolutely LOVE the headband! Also,when he made the final payment on our trip last month,he mentioned that it was our honeymoon and the resort upgraded our bed size from full to king size.I can't wait to see how we get treated once we're down there

I think everyone else gave you good advice. Just have fun, don't take yourselves too seriously and know that while the hats and pins can get you some benefits from cast members, it doesn't always happen. So maybe put on your hat or your pin, focus on each other and your honeymoon, forget about any possible benefits and then they really will be surprises if they happen!

I just wanted to say congrats! and also that my fiance and I are taking our honeymoon to Disney in July! We are so excited. We are kind of in the same situation, but opposite, I have been to Disney 10+ times, and my fiance has been there twice. We splurged and are staying at the Boardwalk, then going on a Disney cruise, and then coming back to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!!

We are going to for sure eat at California Grill (on tip of the Contemporary) and the Crystal Palace in MK. The Crystal Palace isn't necessarily romantic, but they have the best buffet. If you need anything just let us know!
