I would like to upgrade my room for my honeymoon to one of the honeymoon rooms. I was told there are 2 types. 1) Regular honeymoon room (large room on a floor with only other honeymoon rooms) 2) Honeymoon tower room - lots of windows, no balcony. I have a couple of questions I'm sure some of you experts can answer.

Is this information correct?

Which room in your opinion is better?

Are these concierge rooms?

What disney characters would you like to see on MTV's real world?

Thanks in advance for the help!!!!

Is this information correct?
Yes, it is correct.

Which room in your opinion is better?
I prefer the turret rooms. Though they don't have a balcony, they are larger and have nice views. They also have a wet bar and sitting area. There are public balconies in the main building, on and off the concierge floor that you could use.

Are these concierge rooms?
Yes, both include access to the Royal Palm Club (and, are in the Royal Palm Club - main building)

Piglet! ;)

I stayed in a honeymoon room on the clarendon level (all the reg honeymoon rooms are on the 2nd floor of the main building and that is called the "clarendon" level. this was a large room w/a king bed, a couch, w/table, a comfy chair, and a whirlpool tub, and a very nice balcony with a MK view. the room was very nice, I had a choice of that room or the Turret, and I really would have liked to stay in the Turret room, but... we love having a balcony, if you dont mind not having your own balcony, then I'd book the Turret room, if a balcony is important to you, then book the regular honeymoon room!

I also stayed in the clarendon level honeymoon room. My new husband and I really wanted the jacuzzi tub and balcony. The turret room would have been wonderful as well though. Just personal preference of ours to have the jacuzzi room.

As a warning, you can request the jacuzzi or octagonal room, but you aren't gauranteed the request, at least that is the last I heard. They do what they can to meet all requests though.

Yes, all of the honeymoon rooms are included in the concierge service.

We stayed in a honeymoon room on Jan. 30th.

We had requested the turret but got the Clarendon Level honeymoon room instead. This room was delightful. We had a clear view of Cinderella's Castle (well, there was a palm tree a bit in the way) but the view of the fireworks was outstanding.

The jacuzzi tub was very nice. Bathrobes in the rooms. There was a king bed, couch, table, table and chairs, etc.

Concierge was very nice.

We had a Turret honeymoon suite on the 3rd floor RPC concierge... On the pool and monorail side -we really wanted to have the lagoon / mk view side... but oh well - can't complain, the room was Fantabulous. :) Very clean, concierge was so helpful - the iron in the room was busted -- we called for a new one, had one in 4 minutes flat! We missed the balcony - but we had one on the Disney Wonder a few days before, so we were all set with not having it. A great experience overall - we got our request granted. :)

I came back from a ski trip today with all my questions answered. THANKS!! You people rock. I'm still not sure which room I want to stay at. By the sounds of it, I doubt I'll be sad with either room. Thanks for all the help

I'm glad you like the pictures...

but I'm still dreaming about that turret room.

We had requested the turret but b/c our room was "complimentary" b/c of our Vow Renewal with Fairy Tale Weddings, the room was not guaranteed.

That was our 3rd stay at GF but I'm determined to stay in a turret some time in the future.

Disney dreaming...

I'll find them. Since they were taken pre-digital, I'll have to scan them in.

But I'll try to find them soon!

I love looking at pictures of the Disney rooms too!
