First before I start in with the report I wanted to share some pictures with you from our wedding (October 29), it was Mickey and Minnie themed. Everyone absolutely loved it, we had it in our home state of Connecticut (we really couldn't afford one in Disney World).

Here are some photos for you to take a look at from the wedding (none of them professional) some were taken it by my mother and others by one of my husband's friends. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jodi_bobporcu/my_photos

Update: Here are the professional photos from the wedding:

Date of the event - October 29

It's so true what people say the wedding goes by really fast, before you knew it we were getting back into our normal clothes and making our way for Bradely Intl' Airport. We headed in really early because of getting up early and getting next to nothing sleep the night before the wedding - not to mention our flight was early in the morning.

Next part of the report - the flight and first day at DisneyWorld!!! All reports will be put within this thread.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures! Congratulations. I look forward to your upcoming trip report.

Lovely piccies ~ Thanx for sharinf#g.

Can't wait to read more.

I love your cake! What a lovely wedding.

Thank you - that's a great compliment.....

Sorry everyone that I haven't posted any of my trip yet......I had just gotten really busy - hopefully by the weekend, I will post some. :goodvibes

Hi Jodi! :wave2:

Your pictures are really nice! You and your DH look great! :goodvibes I am looking forward to reading your trip report. ::yes::

First of all I would like to apologize to everyone waiting for my posting. It's been really crazy busy for us since returning.

October 30th - We had to get up at 4:00 to be ready for room service at the Sheraton help us with our bags - they were great they brought them right to the Delta/Song counter for us.

Once checked in, we were on our way - we had the 6:50 flight to Orlando, we only had time to grab a bagel and a cup of hot chocolate. Everything went smoothly and we arrived in Orlando sometime around 9:30.

Since it was our honeymoon we decided to get a town car from Tiffany Towncar. The driver was there waiting for us at baggage claim, we went to get our luggage while he pulled the car around; that's about the only dissapointment....we thought that the driver would help us out with the luggage but then again this is our first time using a service so maybe we were under the wrong impression.

We went for our scheduled grocery stop and from there got to POFQ in no time - we checked in our luggage with the Disney baggage area until we checked in.....Good news our room was already ready for us.

This is where everything gets bumpy - we went to use our keys in the door and neither one of them worked, we went back to the check in counter and explained what happened, got a new set of keys and were on our way - went to check into the room again and they didn't work - so we used one of the phones in the snack area to call the check in counter - they sent another CM to open the door for us, which was done in no time :), we called for the luggage to be brought up to the room.

I waited for the luggage while my husband went to see if there was anything that could be done about the room, because not only did the keys still not work but we were promised by AAA to have a king bed.

DH came back and said that nothing that could be done about the king bed - apparently AAA had been making a lot of promises that couldn't be kept like that (clearly not the Disney people's fault) and we were safe to go to the parks for the day.

Our first stop was Downtown Disney - most importantly DisneyQuest. We had a great time there - I loved being able to build my own coaster :Pinkbounc . After spending a great amount of time at DisneyQuest, we decided to go to Epcot for a little bit - no plan but to just have some fun. I'm not great at knowing the order of the rides that we went on but the rides we went on were Mission Space, Test Track, and Soarin' (Love Soarin'). The last thing we did before leaving the park is seeing Illuminations (a first for me - this only being my second trip to Disney). What an amazing show, DH did say it would be amazing but also said that it is a good thing that I saw this show first because others would blow Illuminations away (Such as Fantasmic).

Well, now that we had been up for hours and not getting much sleep for a couple of days we decided to turn in .......but guess what?" Once again the key didn't work. We had to back to check in and ask for their help. One of the CM's assisted us to our room again and had put in a call for service - about a half hour later the person showed and the problem was the system had to be rebooted.

Finally - sleep. Tomorrow Magic Kingdom.

Great trip report so far! I hope you enjoyed Fantasmic, but Illuminations is the BEST show IMHO. It sounds like you had a great time (despite the key situation). :flower:

Thanks for the report...can't wait to hear more. That is frustrating about the door and the king bed! Did you tell AAA about it?

I didn't tell AAA about the king bed - I had a great time otherwise, so it wasn't a big enough deal for me to go to AAA with. although, my DH and his family wanted me to make mention to AAA.

I'm just not one to make a stink :goodvibes

Had a great time at Fantasmic.....I liked both Illuminations and Fantasmic they are different so I can't say one is better than the other (that was DH : ))

I totally understand about not making a stink about something small when everything else is so wonderful. Too much negative energy to focus on the small stuff (although to me, not having a king bed on a honeymoon might not have been a small thing :rotfl: ). By the way, not sure if I mentioned this in prior posts, but your wedding pictures were so beautiful. Lookingforward to reading more.

Can't wait for the rest! Great report and love your photos

Wow - this day was busy (most of them were). I had to wake up at 5:00 to take a shower and to assure that my hair was dry. 6:30 I had an appointment for my hair to get done professionally (today was the first of our three honeymoon photo sessions).

After getting my hair done, DH and I headed toward the bus area to go to the Magic Kingdom. This is the first time we went to the Magic Kingdom and waited with everyone else until the park opened - it wasn't that long of a wait......and we were off to meet the photographer for the photo session.

We had a lot of fun during the photo session - it went by so quick. Here is the link to the website for our photo session in the Magic Kingdom. The login is: Starodomsky / Porcu HM

We enjoyed the whole day at the Magic Kingdom and went back to our room around 4:00 to change for the Mickey's Not so Scary party. Once changed we were back on the bus to the Magic Kingdom for our 6:00 reservation at Tony's. Unfortunately, when we got to Tony's there was a long line ahead of us and we did not get in as early as we had expected - but had a wonderful time......I just love the decorations in Tony's, altough since I am a really picky eater it was a little bit tough to find something on the menu that I would eat - DH had no problem and liked the restaurant very much.

We were on the meal plan while at DisneyWorld and it was great, with one exception is that we ate way too much! The night at Tony's we had one appetizer each, dinner, and a desert - then on top of that since we were on our honeymoon we got a free desert! :goodvibes

We went on to enjoy the Halloween party - Hallowishes was great and this time we caught the Headless Horseman before the parade (Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture). So much fun trick or treating......I dressed up as a Witch and my husband dressed up as a Pirate.

We stayed at the Magic Kingdom as until closing and made our way back to POFQ. Tomorrow MGM!

LOVE the pictures, they turned out great. You must have had so much fun with the session. I'm glad you made the best out of the whole POFQ situation. Can't wait to read the rest!
