Honeymoon Related: WDW Tours?

So DF and I are planning to do both the Keys to the Kingdom tour and the Undiscovered Future World tour, and I'm really excited! However, I was wondering--- I know it says you have to hold your reservation for the tour with a credit card, but what exactly does that mean? Do you pay when you reserve the tour? Or do they keep your credit card on file and just not bill you until you go on the tour? (I know you have to cancel the tour 24 hrs in advance or you get charged.)

Just wondering and trying to figure out my budget for the next few months. Thanks!

Any time we have done a tour, they just take your credit card number at the time you make the reservation. Then you will have to pay for it when you take the tour -- so you can use the same or a different card/cash/etc. They take the card number so they can bill you if you don't show up.
