I work for disney and i just read the newwes eyes and ears which is their employee newspaper. Starting feb 14th of this year they are starting a honeymoon registry. you can go and request dinners at certain hotels and tickets, boat rental, or just souviners. I think this is so cool. i will let you know if i hear anymore.

AWESOME! Please let me know what you hear...this is really great news as we were trying to figure out how we were going to pay for it all and we really don't need more "stuff":dance3:

I am wondering what types of things the registry is going to offer. Is it going to offer just Disney stuff, or what about spa treatments? Discovery Cove? Richard Petty Driving Experience?

I can't wait until FEB 14TH!!!!!

from what it says is people can register for activites , fodd, or mecandise. petty sounds like it would but discovery cove is not a disney thing it is sea world

I must say I read this somewhere else and got totally excited about it! I was just wondering does it seem tacky to register for things for your Honeymoon? That is the only problem I can see. I don't want people thinking we don't have the money to do it ourselves but I would LOVE to use this option!! Am I nuts?? :confused3

No, you're not nuts. I brought this up at work yesterday, and alot of people thought its a great idea. One lady mentioned that she always just gives people money for their wedding instead of a gift. She thought this was a great idea and asked where she could do this for me!

I too contemplated with the tackiness of the registry. The way I look at it is, they are purchasing FUN things for you to do, while you are paying to get to WDW. I just want to use it for extra fun activities to do on the side of the stuff we already plan to do.
