Honeymoon photography

I am going to Disney world on my honeymoon and would like to hire an outside photographer to take the pictures. Do any of you have a photographer you would recommend, I live in CA so I wouldn't be able to meet them in person ahead of time so recommendations would be great. If you have Disney engagement or honeymoon pics I'd love to see them!

You get two photgraphers they are a husband and wife team and are the most amazing people to work with!! We love them both and I know many other disbrides have had the same experience also.

We hired Randy Chapman to do our honeymoon portraits. It was $200 for the package and we get one B&W and one color DVD of all the photos, along with the copyrights to print them. Disney photography was $400 and the only difference was a photobook, but we didn't think it was worth the extra $200. We plan on taking Randy's DVD's and making copies of our photos at Walgreens and our photobooks on Shutterfly (much cheaper). Plus Randy has gotten such great reviews from the girls on the board that have used him for their wedding.

I'd recommend checking out

- Misty Miotto (you get two photographers with Misty and her husband Nelio)

- Root Photography (again, two photographers with Jensey and her husband Nate)

- Studio Two Twenty Two (or 222)(also two photographers with Becka and Nate)

Keep in mind that none of the outside photographers can enter any park to take photos. If you want photos inside a park, it will have to be Disney Photography.

Kristen Weaver Photography is excellent. The Roots moved to Tennessee, I believe.

This sounds like a pretty good deal. How long was the session? I'm thinking about getting honeymoon portraits done at the Port Orleans Riverside resort, that is possible right? (Since it isn't inside the parks)

Thanks I will check out all your recommendations. I don't mind not taking pictures in the park. Do you have any resorts you would recommend. A picture with the castle in the background would be neat.

Yes, I accidentally called Roots at their new home. Whoops! We ultimately went with Randy, and he was fantastic.
