Hi, I'm new to these boards! I am interested in doing the Honeymoon Photo Shoot at the Magic Kingdom in October but I'm wondering if it is worth spending the money for it. Can anyone post pictures from their honeymoon/engagement photo shoot so I can have an idea of how they will come out. Is it worth the money??

I'm really disappointed that you can only do the MK photo shoot in wedding attire if you are having a fairytale wedding. I would LOVE to be able to do that! oh well....thanks for the help.

Hi, and welcome to the board!

We did the honeymoon photo session on our trip in November at the Magic Kingdom. It was free for us, because we opted not to use Disney for our wedding, so we went for it. We met our photographer that morning, and he walked us around the park for awhile, snapping shots. We had shots by the Castle, the Haunted Mansion, the treehouse, and a few other places. He was really friendly, and we had a lot of fun. He took about 80 pictures or so, but we only got about 20 of them back. Overall, I'm not thrilled with the quality of the pictures...our eyes were closed in several of them, and I think whoever chose the pictures we received didn't put much thought into them.

You can check them out, so that you can get an idea of some of the locations they use:

Go to http://www.collages.net/disneyweddings.

Fill in the following name and password information:

Make sure you put in the spaces in front of and behind the slash in the username, or it won't let you in.

I have seen some honeymoon shoots that came out much better than mine, so don't let mine stop you! We did have a lot of fun doing it! There's also the option of having the shoot in Epcot, which would probably turn out really good!

Hope that helps!

Thank you for posting your pictures. I think they came out great!

Did you get all of your proofs back. I spoke to someone on the phone about it the other day and she mentioned that we get to keep the proofs.

Thanks again

Thanks for sharing these! I too am debating on doing the photo shoot or not. I don't like the idea of paying $200+ dollars and only getting 20 pictures for it!!!

We did the Honeymoon Photo Shoot at Epcot in December. We also went with an outside photographer for our intimate wedding, so we were able to do the photo shoot at Epcot for $50. It was a lot of fun and the pictures turned out great. Feel free to take a look. Same link and password beckyb29 posted, username 'Wheeler / Price Wedding'.

We actually got our proofs in the mail yesterday. The came in a cute leather album, and there are the same 20 or so pics that are on the web site. No extras, even though he shot well over 60 or so.They are probably 4x6, which we get to keep. They turned out better on the paper than they looked on the website...colors were better and clearer, etc.

We had ours done at the World Showcase at Epcot. It was the best money I've ever spent. I love the pictures and we had a blast doing it. In fact my DH2B wants to do another one either at MK or AK during our honeymoon (we used them as our engagement photos)!

**Also, I spoke with someone the other day at Disney Photography because I wasn't sure how to pick out the 20 pictures on the website (it kept charging me for them). She told me they send me all of the pictures on the website (which in my case is a lot!) but only put 20 of them in the album and I can change out the pictures in the album if I want. :thumbsup2

since we are using Randy for our wedding our coordinator. told us we could have Disney photography for a honeymoon shoot, but she said that we could only have Epcot or MGM, which is fine, but I wonder why not Magic Kingdom... Has anyone done them at MGM?
