Honeymoon on Disney Dream

Hi All,
My fiance and I will be going on our first cruise ever this December on the Disney Dream (5-night Bahamas).. Oh and did I mention that this is also our honeymoon!!
So since this is the first cruise either of us has been on, and since it is our honeymoon we want it to be special and fun! We are both very adeventurous, not big partiers, and ready for a vacation together! We are staying in a Deluxe Stateroom with Veranda, on I believe mid-deck. (room #7076)
If you have any ideas on what we should do while on our cruise, I am open to ideas!

Hooray! Congrats!! We are also taking our very first cruise on the Dream this August. The only things I can suggest is to make sure you put that you are celebrating your honeymoon. And book either Remy or Palo, I hear they are romantic and they are adults only. Book a couples massage. Go dancing in one of the adults only lounges. Book some fun excursions, like the bicycles and snorkeling and parasailing.

Also, try postinng on the DCL forum, you might get some more responses.

I second the couples massage!!! We enjoyed our first one so much on the Wonder last year, we booked another one for the following day!

We honeymooned on the maiden voyage after our DFTW! you will have a great time! I recommend wearing any Mickey bridal accoutrements you may have on board - my Minnie bride ears got us an earlier embarkation than we expected! And aside from the cool things to do, they have just married pins at guests services ala the little mermaid - so ask for those straight away! And OF COURSE you've told whomever/however you made your reservation that it's your honeymoon!!

Oh yeah, I made a bunch of 'just married" magnet decor for our stateroom door that generated a lot of fun comments!

Oh congrats on the honeymoon on the dream, cruising is so much fun you will love it! I have been on two cruises before, but in November I will be on my first Disney cruise and getting married on it!

You can order a "romance" package it is like bathrobes, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be sent to your room...order in (room service is free)...couples massage is a wonderful idea as well You will have a great time!

We went on our first cruise after our dftw ! If you can, get a cabana on serenity bay. It's not cheap but it was the best money we spent! We also had dinner at Remy which we loved!

Congrats!! You are going to have such a fun trip. FI and I were on the Dream in March and loved it. I would definitely eat at Palo. Hands down, one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten in, and it only has a $20pp surcharge.

You're going to love Castaway Cay, too. I would recommend heading over to the adult side of the island, Serenity Bay. There's usually hardly anyone there since its only those 18+ can go over there.

On your stop in Nassau, I would check out Blue Lagoon Island. You can book the excursion on your own or through the cruise. We always book excursions through the cruise though as its easier and we don't have to worry about arranging anything. You can choose from the dolphin swim or encounter, sea lion encounter or the beach day. We did the beach day and it was very relaxing. We got lunch, floats, and 2 drinks included as well. It's definitely one of the more cleaner places in Nassau since its very secluded.

HI! My Fiance and I are doing the same thing!! We are looking at 6/24 or 7/8 of 2012. We are going to do the 5 night bahama cruise with 5 or 6 nights at the poly after. We are leaving at the end of july for 9 days at the WL. I hope to talk to someone while I am down there. I have been doing non-stop research on the cruise and I cant wait!! It looks like so much fun!!
