We have never been to Aulani and with everything starting to open and come back, we need some major help planning. We live in Orlando and are BIG Disney fans. We are staying in from the 15-22nd of October. We are looking for excursions that can be book in and outside of Aulan as well as dining. Double points if it involves the ocean or animals. We are renting a jeep for the week as well.

I apologize if this feels at all repetitive, I've watched many videos but it seems like many are from before lifted restrictions and openings.

It's times like these when we need Stacy from Must-Do Disney, what are your must dos??

The Laniwai spa is our must do. My husband was not enthusiastic. He consented but made SURE I knew he doesn’t like spa days. I had to pull him out of there. He absolutely loved the spa at Aulani. Said he would spend every vacation day there if he could. I’d recommend starting out with a spa day and ending on a spa day. If you have a late night flight it’s a perfect way to end your stay and then leave for the airport clean and showered.

I love Lanikai and Bellows beach. Bellows has weekend access for public. Pretty drive.

Make important dining and spa reservations in advance. Monkey pod across the street has walk up bar no ressies needed but just about everything requires ressies to avoid long waits.

Congratulations and have a wonderful honeymoon!

1. I hate Waikiki but you should plan part of a day to at least go down and walk around.
2. I think PH is a must do for any first trip.
3. If you're into hiking, the views from Diamondhead can't be beat!
4. Drive to the N. Shore to see Turtle Beach and the Waimea Valley.
5. Down time on the beach
6. Couples treatment at the spa .... if they're back

After that, its the "what have you seen on TV that you want to see"
Punchbowl Cemetery was on my list on my first trip do the original HI Five-0
PCC is fun on the N. Shore
Trolley tours are great hop on hop off tours to do drive byes on sites
Kualoa Ranch has some great days

Last suggestion ... don't over plan. Its easy to try to see everything. You won't. Its your Honeymoon. Embrace the island spirit. Go with the flow... plan down days... You can always decide to drive to one of the lookouts or take a hike the day of

Enjoy!

Thank you so much! Thank you for the spa tip too! My fiancé is the same way about spas so maybe we'll have the same luck!

Definitely going to try Bellows Beach!

I greatly appreciate all the advice! I am glad you say not to over plan as I thought Aulani had to be planned every moment (much like a Disney trip) after seeing so many posts about excursions. I definitely want to check out turtle beach so thank you for confirming that! I definitely want to see the Punchbowl cemetery too.
Definitely going to check out/look up your other suggestions!

Thank you, kindly!
