What hotel do you suggest for a quick honeymoom? My daughter is getting married March 29th. They plan an October honeymoon to Venice and Rome in October, but want to go for about 3 days right after the wedding to Disneyland. My daughter loves Disneyland...her finance hasn't been so thinks it's mostly for kids ... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Wee!! Congrats to your daughter :) I'm going next week for my honeymoon staying at GCH it's my first time staying on site. My sister went for hers and stayed at Paradies Pier. I'm betting GCH will be better because they can get some spa treatments while they're there also and just relax and enjoy it. Just my opinion though:upsidedow

Congrats to your DD!!:yay:

I think the Grand Californian would be perfect!

Grand California hands down!!
Congrats to your DD!

If you want an onsite hotel, then Grand Californian is an excellent choice. If you're looking for a nice hotel, but not the Disneyland prices, try the Sheraton Anaheim - very nice hotel with beautiful grounds.

Agree with Mary Jo. Even if they decide to stay somewhere else, have them go to Napa Rose for dinner one night. It's nice and can be really romantic. Call for Priority Seating though - can get really busy.

They can have a very grown up experience at GCH (along with grown up prices).

thanks :) it seems like 6 days is so far away... I can't wait to go!! YAY!!

Just wanted to give you an update on my daughter's honeymoon...looks like we have another convert to DISNEYLAND!! Her husband wasn't very thrilled to go to Disneyland, but to please my daughter he decided to go. They stayed at the Grand Californian (thanks to all that recommended it!). They had a lovely park view room with special turn down service. For their arrival I had arranged for a cheese and fruit platter, chocolate covered strawberries, and extra bottled water. (I knew her new husband would not really care for the mickey top hat with ears...) Needless to say, they had a wonderful time. The first day my daughter had to partially drag him out of bed...the next days, he was dragging her out of bed so they wouldn't miss out on any fun. They enjoyed a spa treatment and dinner at Napa Rose, the Disneyland Hotel steak house, and the Blue Bayou Restaurant. They even had their picture taken with Mickey and some of the characters at the Storyteller's Cafe! He couldn't get over how clean and well maintained the parks were. They also enjoyed all their meals! He wants to go back and stay longer next time. Boy, does this make me happy!! :) Again, thanks for all your recommendations. :worship:
