I hope I'm posting this is the right area...

My brother is getting married in May and I have booked a portion of honeymoon at KV with our DVC pts. I thought it would be neat to have some sort of gift basket waiting for them when they check in. I know there are so many creative DISers on here and I'm hoping you can help come up with some ideas. I'll have some snacks and personalized bottles of water, and matching just married shirts. Other than that, I'm sort of clueless. Any ideas? TIA!

What about the Mickey and Minnie wedding ears?

"Just married" trading pins. A bottle of bubbly & 2 glasses. Or, to keep it simple, you could just call Disney Florist, and let them handle it. Did you book Concierge rooms? They'll do a lovely yummy cake.

When we were married we didn't get a honeymoon basket, but we did get some cute things from family and friends that I loved (and let's face it, all the wedding stuff is for the bride :goodvibes). My sister gave us "Just Married" flip-flops:

and we still wear them! They were perfect walking in the sand. We got beautiful candles, too. DMIL gave us an adorable Disney pin of Mickey & Minnie slicing their wedding cake and I just loved that! Anything "romantic" like rose petals, Hershey's Kisses, and you can't go wrong with champagne (or sparkling cider if they're non-drinkers). If you're feeling a little more "naughty" you can get something like a love dice game, chocolate body paint, etc. You Have fun with it!

Disney Florist is a bit pricey for my tastes simply because I could create something just as good for a fraction of the cost. It is WAY less of a hassle though. And don't get me wrong...I've been dropping hints for years for DH to order one of the "romantic" gift baskets on their site. Obviously it'll take a few more years before he gets the hint.

No, not concierge. I've saved that for myself. :rotfl:
