Hello! My DF and I will be honeymooning in Disney World on April 27 - May 4th. Rumor has it that I may be able to make my ADRs on Monday, so I'm getting my schedule ready and here's what I've come up with:

Day 1: Dinner at Le Cellier
Day 2: Dinner at Coral Reef
Day 3: Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table (Already booked!)
Dinner place needed!! Ideas???
Day 4: Dinner at Chef Mickey's (Already booked!)
Day 5: Dinner at California Grill (Hopefully during P&PP Fireworks)
Day 6: Sci-Fi Dine In
Day 7: Teppan Edo
Day 8: Breakfast at Cape May (We're staying at the Beach Club, so it's the quickest place to go before we have to catch our flight back to Pittsburgh)

So my question is, is there any places you highly recommend that I should swap for something else?? Any really really good breakfasts I should schedule?? Anything else I should add? We're on the DDP, so I'm trying to stay away from 2 credit places, I already have 2 planned.

This is my first time there in almost 10 years and DF has never been there, so we're open to all suggestions!!

Thanks!!

OMG you have to eat dinner at Ohanas!!! SOO good!!! Watch Wishes on the Beach!!!!

Kona is another good one. Make sure you get the personalized menus and the diver at the coral reef. If you can..it is free.

I've read such good reviews on here for Ohanas!!! Maybe I'll put that in my last dinner spot!

How do you get a personalized menu and diver at coral reef?? I've heard of that being done, but I don't know how you go about getting it!

I might trade out Cape May for Spoodles -- it's about a 5 minute walk, and the Spoodles breakfast is great. It's also way less expensive than Cape May (because it's not a character meal).

Ohh, thanks for the suggestion! I actually haven't looked into Spoodles at all! I'll have to look it up right now!

P.S. You have 3 disney trips in less than 3 months?!?!?! I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I have 5 in the next five months, but I can't have that many countdowns. :rotfl: This is the great advantage of living 90 minutes from Disney.

I highly recommend the waffle with marscapone, honey, and pecans at Spoodles.

You are sooo lucky!!! 1. because you get to go to Disney all the time and 2. you don't have to deal with SNOW!

Yum! Those waffles sound delicious!

Yuck! No, I hate it!!! hahaha! We've had too much of it already, and it's ONLY November!

I just got back from an anniversary trip and we did some great dining. We stayed at the Boardwalk and the dining in that area is excellent.

BTW, your choices so far are excellent (I'm not a big Coral Reef Fan, even though I did DiveQuest last year and got to wave at diners while swiming by the window)

If you're not doing the DDP, maybe try Todd English's Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. If you're on the DDP skip it because it would be OOP.

Yachtmans Steakhouse (at Yacht Club) and Flying Fish Cafe (on Boardwalk) are also excellent choice near BCV but they are DXDP or 2TS.

And as another poster noted Spoodles is excellent (but we had dinner there, not breakfast). The sangria alone will make me go back next visit.

My final recomendation would be Hoop De Doo Review (Day 3? You could take boat over to FW from MK since you'd be there, and bus service directly back to BCV from there because of the show). Very fun, and its an all you can eat table service meal with all you can drink Beer and Sangria. Funny how 2 of my recommendations directly deal with Sangria. ;)

We tried to plan our dinners back near our resort so we could hit the parks in the morning, come back for a break (pool or rest), have dinner nearby and then hit the EMH park for the night.

Thanks for the suggestions!! I don't know what I'll think of the food at Coral Reef... I don't like any seafood! But, I'm a huge nerd and have always wanted to go there since Danny and Vicki dined there on Full House!:rotfl:

I didn't know Hoop De Doo is all you can drink beer!!! DF isn't big on the character places (even though I'm already dragging him to a few) but I'm sure he'd happily go for all you can drink beer!!! :lmao:

There's so many places that I'd love to try!!!! I need to get my butt down there more than once every 10 years, LOL!

Actually, I miss snow. And fall. And getting to wear winter clothes. And drinking hot tea on cold mornings. And snowdays. Man, I miss snowdays.

Of course, there are lots of things about winter I do not miss. But living down here, it messes with your mind a little bit. It's very strange to walk into Publix on a nice, warm day after being at the beach and hear them playing Christmas carols.

The proximity to Disney is, however, an unqualified perk.

We LOVED Cape May for breakfast when we were there last month! To me, the price was reasonable because it's all you can eat. My DH and I love breakfast and this was great. Food was good, good variety, character interaction was great, service was awesome. It was the morning of our 5th wedding anniversary, we had our buttons on and the waitress had Donald come over, gave us a chocolate mousse with a candle in it and had the room sing Happy Annivesary to us. The characters right now are Minnie, Goofy and Donald, all dressed in beach attire. It was fun even though we are adults with no kids.

Whatever you decide, have a GREAT time! :cool1:

Angela if you like steak Coral Reef has a very good steak. I loved it.

I actually was born in Miami and lived in Miramar (a little north of Miami) until about 1990, so I know how Florida Christmases are! It wasn't weird at the time, but after living in Pgh for so long, it would be weird! I remember being like 5 or 6 years old and running outside on Christmas morning so excited because icicles were hanging down from our swingset.

Yay! I'm glad to hear that Cape May is a good pick!

That's probably what I'll be getting!! I'm glad to hear it was good!!

they all look good!!

we're just back from our honeymoon there and the one tip I would give is when the waiter first comes over tell them you're on your honeymoon and that your no rush to leave. Our first reservation was Brown Derby and we were out within an hour, since then we asked for 10-15mins between courses and we had a great time.

Enjoying the views, talking about the wedding, the restaurant ambience and the wine of course!

Have a great time!

I was also wondering about the personalized menus and the diver at coral reef, that is really the only reason that I want to go there, could you please explain this to me.
