Honeymoon - CBR or POFQ

Hi everyone, I'm new here! My fiance & I have decided to go to Disney next October for our honeymoon; we're both so excited! I've never been & my fiance only visted once as a child!

I really love the looks of the Boardwalk resort but the price difference between the deluxe & the moderate resorts is a lot! We'd rather go with the moderate & put that extra money towards doing/spending while there.

Anyway, which resort would you recommend, the Caribbean Beach Resort or Port Orleans French Quarter for a honeymoon?

I've stayed at POFQ, and highly recommend staying there. It's very romantic, and smaller than some of the other resorts. I also like the transportation options. The bus runs regularly, but there's also a boat that goes to DTD. There are lots of cuddling opportunities on the boat in the evenings since the weather cools off.

Regardless of where you guys stay, you'll have a fantastic time!

First of all Congrats!! My Dh and I had our honeymoon at WDW this past February. You will have a great time. I have not stayed at CBR, though I do want to one day. I would recommend the POFQ. We stayed there one night before we had to switch over to CSR. The FQ was very romantic. The rooms are just gorgeous. You can look on www.allearsnet.com to see pictures of all the rooms at all the different hotels. CSR is a very nice hotel too. My DH thought we were staying at a deluxe the whole time we were there. We loved it at CSR. But out of your two choices of CBR or POFQ, I would choose FQ. Hope this helps.

POFQ! We spent our honeymoon there and we're going back for our 10 year anniversary this month.

Definately POFQ. The boat transportation to DTD is a real plus. POFQ is small and charming.

I think CBR is quite romantic. It all comes down to the theming you like best. You can't go wrong with any of the moderates.
