Any suggestions for special things to do at WDW for our honeymoon? Do they do anything special at City Hall??

I would definitely do a fireworks cruise for Illuminations, I would also have dinner at the California Grill and request a Magic Kingdom view so you can watch Wishes...

This is what I have planned for my honeymoon:
Dinner at California Grill
Specialty cruise for Illuminations
Dinner at Victoria and Alberts
Carriage Ride at POFQ
Mama Melrose for Fantasmic Dinner Package

I wanted to see La Nouba, which is Disney's Cirque show, but DH2B had no interest in that.

But for me just being at Disney for my honeymoon is a dream come true. Best of luck in your plans!

Anytime you make a PS tell them you will be on your honeymoon.
Tell the hotel where you have ressies at.
Wear the bride and groom mouse ears

We got lots of small things during ours.
On our annv. trip the room next to us got balloons delivered to room and bride and grrom bean bags.

i agree with the others too, the illuminations firework cruise is fabulous! and the mickey & minnie bride ears can be personalized at dtd's days of christmas store which are cute, cant wait to wear ours. and always mention its your honeymoon.

other suggestions
-a couples spa treatment at the gf, we really enjoyed this.
-dinner at cinderella's royal table in the castle.
-one of the wdw backstage tours, we really enjoyed the dolphins in depth at epcot, you get a hands on experience in the water with the dolphins, very amazing.
-hayride or sing along campfire at fort wilderness, was fun.
-parasailing at the contemporary, they have a tandem we did together.
-nostalgic stroll, dancing at atlantic dance or karoake & drinks at jellyrolls at the boardwalk.
-pleasure island at dtd, comedy & dance clubs, midnight fireworks.
-surfing clinic or shark reef snorkeling at typhoon lagoon. we have some great underwater pictures, we even asked another swimmer for one of us together underwater.

have a great time on your wdw honeymoon & congrats!

Husband and I will be celebrating our honeymoon in WDW in march, I have already made our PS plans but I didnt tell them should I call them back I want this to be so special

What kind of small things did you get, I cant get DH to wear the ears so i made name tag like things that just said " Yes were on your Honeymoon" do you think that will be ok? He was worried about having the ears and the rides. I only have one set of bride and groom shirts ( looks like lot of laundry lol)

What's the shark reef snorkeling??

its an aquarium/pool area at typhoon lagoon, it has a coral reef, tropical fish & small sharks. the snorkel equipment is free and they allow only a certain number of people at a time in to swim through, when we went there was 3 others. it was pretty neat.

I want to wear the bride ears but how do you keep them on - on rides, etc. I can't do the bobby pin thing because of my fine hair they just fall out...suggestions?

If you can get the ears ahead of time, then go to a craft store like Michaels (or even Walmart's beauty section should work) and see about picking up 3 small hair combs. You can glue these to the headband - 1 at the top/middle and the other 2 close to the ends - and it should help to keep it on.

That's a great idea - Thank you! :)

for our honeymoon in May/June we're doing an Illuminations cruise the first night we arrive and then since we're staying at POFQ we're going to do a carriage ride one night as well. Some other things we were thinking of doing is renting a bicycle built for 2 and cruising around the boardwalk if that's possible. We're also going to have a few nice dinners as well, and we did the MYW+dining, so we have to see the list of restraunts that are included in this. I also believe we're going to be wearing the bridal ears and I want to get custom shirts done before we leave so we can wear them as well. How exciting!!

I bought the headband instead of the beanie version and had no trouble with it staying on. It was also very easy to take off and put back on before and after rides. It fit nicely in my little backpack too if i wanted to keep it protected. HTH...

Oh they have headbands? I didn't know that - did you buy it ahead of time? I was thinking about doing that but I'm not sure yet. :confused3

Yes, I ordered it ahead of time...here is the link:

http://www.mouseshoppe.com/product.cfm?ProductID=4771

However, they do sell them in the parks now and they are about half the price you will pay through Mouseshoppe. When I needed them they were not sold in WDW. It was nice to have them ahead of time though since I wore it on the plane and it was really fun to go through the airport with it....it was worth the extra money....HTH.... :sunny:

do they also offer the men's version on that website to buy ahead of time? This would save some time hunting them down when we arrive that first night :)
