I will be at WDW May 29 th - June 4 th. Does Disney provide any
extra for the honeymoon couple. Oh getting married May 29th.:wave2:

first...congrats

second, we spent our honeymoon at POR (dixie landing at the time) 9 years ago

the only thing they did was upgrade our room (we got a mansion room with a view rather than the parking lot type room we were booked for)

now we go back in 58 days....our anniversary is then....I have told them numerous times its our anniversary....lets see if they do anything

We stayed at WL for our honeymoon in '02. They upgraded our room from standard to a view of the lake and the water parade. That was about it.
Happy honeymooning!

we HM'd in Disney in Sept 03.
stayed concierge at WL and AKL...and we paid for it.

we got a few "perks" here and there...nothing like an upgrade or anything. (we were willing to pay for what we wanted and not rely on possibly getting upgraded)

it's basicaly hit or miss...what one HM'ing couple got, another may not.

When you make your PSs, tell them that you are celebrating your honeymoon. We did this for our honeymoon in Dec. 2002. We got 2 free Champagne cocktails at the Bistro de Paris and were seated at a window with a great view of "France" down below; we also received 2 free champagne glasses at CTR (they even let us keep the menu and dessert menu)! *Be really nice to all the CMs even the ones at the attractions; you never know how they'll surprise you (you should be nice to them anyway! ;) ).* We got to the head of many lines because they only needed 2 people to fill up space (of course, we went in the low season).

We stayed at the Wyndham Palace near DTD. We had booked a King Jacuzzi room, 400 sq ft. We received a call about 5 months before our honeymoon saying that they would upgrade us to an 800 sq ft. suite at no extra charge!

BTW, congratulations on your upcoming wedding--you and your future spouse must be SOOOO excited. Enjoy your honeymoon!

P.S. I wish we had gotten the bride and groom Mickey hats. I noticed couples that had those on seemed to get a lot of attention.

:wave2:

Best wishes on your upcoming wedding!

When DH and I honeymooned in WDW, we got some special attention. As the previous poster said, definitely buy the hats! The one regret on our honeymoon was that we did not wear the hats for more than 1 day as we were afraid they would get ruined. I would say, don't go expecting something extra. If no one makes a big deal you will be dissapointed. Let the magic come to you and remember, you are honeymooning in WDW!

Thanks for the replys... I am going to do something different this time at WDW... Doing the behind the scene tours. I have something scheduled everyday. Have made all the priority seating for dinners. My future wife has been to WDW over thirty times and hasen't done the tours. ::yes::
