My DH2B and I are feeling overwhelmed about all of the choices that we have with our dining plan. We were hoping that someone could give us recommendations on where we should try to get PS's to. We are really open for trying new things and we would like to try a variety of different styles. We do want to do at least one character dining experience but we are not really sure which one would be best. We will be staying at CSR in November for 7 nights. The only places we have actually ate at are all burger joints and we are hoping to be able to walk away from Disney with some wonderful memories of the places we went to.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Our favorite character meal is the Garden Grill in the Land pavilion at Epcot. It is a character meal but much more sedate than some of the others and the food is very tasty. I think it would be a great character meal for a honeymoon.

Some other places that we really enjoy that we ate at on our honeymoon were Le Cellier and Spoodles. Artist Point would also be a wonderful place for a romantic dinner. The WL is a beautiful resort especially in the evenings.

We love dinner at Cinderella's. Very romantic! :lovestruc

We'll be on the dining plan, too - planning on eating dinner there, as well as Boma, Kona Cafe, O'Hana, Liberty Tree Tavern (great character interaction!), 50's Prime Time Cafe, and the Garden Grill. We're also going to have lunch at Le Cellier (paying separately).

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Hope you have a very magical honeymoon! :wizard:

For a great steak, try Shula's. Seafood try Blue Zoo. Total indulgance go for Victoria and Alberts. We have also had romantic meals at California Gill, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Narcoossee's.

We are going on our Disneymoon in July and here is the list of places we are eating...

  • Narcoossee's in the Grand Floridian
  • Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom
  • Coral Reef Restaurant in the Living Seas at Epcot
  • Lunch at Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom
  • Dinner at California Grill in the Contemporary
  • Mama Melrose's in MGM
  • and Fulton's in Downtown Disney before we leave

I have heard great things about the California Grill.. And we have a late (9pm) reservation, so that we can HOPEFULLY get a window seat and see Wishes while we're eating. VERY ROMANTIC!

Also, be sure to do the mini-wedding cake. If you eat at any restaurant in the Grand Floridian, they will bring it to you, but if you go anywhere else and order it, you have to pick it up.

As for character dining, we didn't choose any, but I have heard great things about both Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

Good luck!! HAPPY DISNEYMOON!!

Thanks for all your suggestions! I will make sure to share them with my fiance!

I am going to relive my honeymoon and list some of the places we ate. We started a tradition and frequent these every chance we get.

San Angels Inn (Mexico) Atmosphere is very romantic (our favorite...perfect date night activity)
Concourse Steakhouse (Contemporary) you do not hear about this one that often...Surprisingly good
Canada...great steaks
Tony's (this was our first restaurant as married folk..very romantic at night..we watched the spectromagic parade as we ate)
Coral Reef

Other restaurants that we frequent include:
Chef Mickey's (Character)
Hollywood and Vine (Buffet) with the Fantasmic Package
Fultons Crab House
Cinderella's Table (Character Breakfast)...Our DS always leaves with a big red lipstick kiss on his forhead :love2:

Earl of Sandwich was surprisingly good for a sandwich in Downtown Disney

You will have a very good time. If you are like us, you will get the "Disney" bug and enjoy many 2nd honeymoons.

Enjoy

Were going in December and we are on the dining plan. I think I have picked a group of resturants that are varied and give you a good return on your $35.00 a day meal plan price.

Kona Cafe
Teppanyaki (Pay out of our pocket)
Chef Mickey's
Spoodles
50's Prime Time Cafe
Concord Steak House
Narcoossee's (2 dinner credits)

Also if you haven't yet checked, all menus are availible at allearsnet.com
