Hiya. I need advice. I will be going to disneyworld may 13-19 this year. it will be for my honeymoon and also my birthday happens to fall in the middle of it. This will be my first time going to disney world.
Does disney do anything special for honeymoons or birthdays ? How do you let them know? Also I need advice on where to make dinner reservations. Is it realy necessary to make reservations at the restaurants? I will be staying at caribbean beach resort with the DDP and 5 day park hopper tickets. Any advice will be so helpful!!pixiedust: :lovestruc  :wave2:

Hi! I will be Disneymooning in May also, the 27-June 3 @ POFQ...I have been reading review after review. The things I've seen are:

yes, make ADRs so you can be sure to get restaurants you want. I made mine in Jan. and had to get a later time at one restaurant. The last time I was in DWD was 9 years ago, and my parents weren't really into spending loads of $$ at TS restaurants. The only input I can give is that we did splurge at Coral Reef in Epcot and it was great! The atmosphere and food was fantastic, and if you and/or your DF are seafood people, be sure to give this place a try. Also, my cousin is seriously like a WDW expert..she's been on vacation there about 25 times, and she also worked there two summers through the college program. She says Liberty Tree Tavern is a must because the food is delicious and its a character meal, which is fun. She also loves 50s Prime Time Cafe in MGM, the only thing is the waitresses act like their your moms, so if you hate to be nagged you may not want to do this one. My DF gave the idea a flat out no! We are doing LTT though.

when you make your ADRs remember to mention that you are on your honeymoon, because I have read where CMs will sprinkle "pixiedust" in the shape of a heart on your table or maybe even give you free dessert.

Be sure to get the wedding mouse ears (white ears w/veil for bride, top hat for groom) this will get you lots of attention, also the honeymoon pins.

Also, if you didn't tell Disney when you booked your room that it will be your honeymoon, you may want to do so. While reading reviews of my resort, I saw where another Disneymooning couple recieved a happy honeymoon postcard in their room signed by Mickey and Minnie!

Hope this info. helps, if I find out anything else I'll let you know!

Congrats and have a great time!

get the "Just Married" pins to wear around the parks and many people will wish you congratulations....if you want to know more information head to this board....
