Hello DISers!

Where would you go if you had 8 days worth of dining plan in which to dine? We are getting the standard DDP and will probably play the CS day by day, but our time for out TS ADRs are almost upon us!

We would definitely like to try out at least one resort TS. We're staying at AKL, but have never been inside ANY deluxe resort before!

Oh, and we got engaged in Chefs Du France, but weren't too crazy about the food.

All of that being said..... what would your line up be? :confused3:goodvibes

Jiko should be on your list if there is something on their menu you both will eat. Their service is awesome and they are great to newlyweds.

My husband & I think you should also eat at Yak & Yeti even though it isn't anything fancy. If you do go there try something like the Lettuce Cups, Pot Stickers, Crispy Mahi Mahi and/or the ribs. Don't just stick with the general oriental food they serve.

Ohana for dinner could be a great choice too. The pot stickers are awesome here too, just like at Yak & Yeti. Hopefully you can time your reservation around the MK fireworks. Ask if you can be seated at a window with a view of the fireworks for an extra romantic evening.

Also, we love the atmosphere at San Angel Inn. My husband ordered the duck with berry sauce and still talks about it often - we were there in December for our Honeymoon.

Try to be a little adventurous in what you order and you may find some pleasant surprises like we did.

Congratulations to the two of you! Hope you have a fabulous time!!!

Congratulations!!!

I would second the recommendation for Jiko. Plus, it is at your resort.

Other ideas:

-Rose and Crown for Illuminations. It's never guaranteed, but try to get a 7:30 ressie and ask for a table overlooking the water. We do this every time we go to Epcot and it's very romantic!

-Snacks in France at the Patissere (sp?)

-We did in room dining from Artist Point (Wilderness) on the first night of our honeymoon. What a fantastic experience and the food was amazing! We've also eaten at the restaurant on another trip, but I think we didn't get a very good seat. The ambiance just wasn't there. However, I've seen pictures that suggest otherwise from other people.

-The food at California Grill is great, but it is noisy (but, hey, this is WDW, right?) but the experience for Wishes is very romantic.

-Call me crazy, but looking at the castle and eating a hot dog from Casey's can even be romantic. I know that you'll have a wonderful time!!!

for a nice place I say narcoossees or Citrico's. COral reef is also good and only one TS credit. We also love Yak and Yeti, GF cafe, crystal palace good luck!

Thanks for the advice! We are going to be on the road on the way to meet with a caterer that morning, so I'll have to take a list with me for the car ride :)
