Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground

I want to take the six kids that I will have with me to have fun and play. Can anyone tell me the best time to go? Does it get really hot and crowded around 2:00 (that is when it will work into my schedule, but I would change if it would be more miserable than fun) Thanks for any tips!!!!!

Been there many many times. Often when I go without mywife I will let the kids play and just sit down and read my book. You will see many parents just sitting or hanging around.

Its more crowded in the afternoon and of course hot with the Florida heat. Best time is usually in the morning. Much better than the afternoon. But you have to go sometimes when you have to go. The kids will still enjoy their time I'm sure.

They also changed the entrance exit from years past and now its in the same place so you can just sit near the exit because one complaint about the place is that the kids can seem to get lost init. That will depend on the age of the kids with you.

When I was there last week, the playground and the food area were both closed. I don't know how long they will be closed though.

I did see that also, but it is suppose to open up in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the info though!!!!!

My kids actually prefer the Boneyard playground in AK to the HISTK area at DS. There's a lot more space to run around.

I believe it will open again July 9th. It was supposed to be the following week, but I read that they moved it to July 9th. We are going to get there the 10th!
