Is this still around in HS? It is on the main Disney website, but on Touring Plans its showing as closed back in 2010. That seems like a long time ago to keep it on the official website.
There used to be a Honey I Shrunk the Audience show - that is likely what Touring Plans listed as being closed. The play area is still open, but it's not really an attraction - just something you can go into, no wait times, etc.
Honey I shrunk the kids, play area is a fun way for the kids to release energy. Also parents can pull up and take a seat and get some needed rest here too. There's also some water spray areas so the kids don't overheat.
The show was close down in 2010 , to make room to bring back Michael Jackson's Capatain EO...confused3)... This was located in the bldg. next to Figments Imagination, in future world west in Epcot.
Thanks. Sounds like a good place for a time filler (e.g. if a few minutes before next FP time) or for the parents to just sit for a bit and let kids play
My husband (for some unknown reason) loves the car stunts show (Light, Motors, Action?). He insists on going every trip. I take whichever child(ren) isn't interested in seeing the show and hang out with a cold drink at this playground. The kids love it, and it's a great place to see! And unlike the Boneyard at AK, it's shaded. Thumbs up here!
It is a playground at DHS. My children went when they were little and my Grandchild loved it last time. The older ones and myself did an extra ride on Star Tours while my wife took the Grand Child. The only probably with this was my wife had to go through the playground with my Grand Daughter. Alert! It is not designed for adults. Very tight squeeze for my wife.
I think I am one of the few that actually wish at EPCOT they would have left the Honey I Shrunk the Audience Show. IT was great but I enjoyed it. Always like the snake scene in it.
