Honey I shrunk the audience... is it lame? I have not seen the one in WDW because DD was always too scared to go. Is it similar to the one in WDW? I know eventually we will go back there, just wondering if we can skip this one at DLR?

I haven't seen HISTA in about 10 years. Once was enuf. The only 3-D show I enjoy at DLR is Muppets 3-D in DCA.

We love it and go every time. I guess its the " we have to see it before its gone " kind of thing. my kids love it and so do I.

It is fun, but it scared our DD4 something awful. I forgot about some of the "jump" scenes (bad mom!) and she about peed her pants! But my boys 7&11 thought it was cool.....

It's not an awesome show in general, but that said, we always see it. I just keep my feet up or forward during the mouse scene. It's not the imagination that bothers me - those things that whip around (air tubes) can really hurt if they snap your bare ankle!

Just like Bug's Life - I know to not lean back in the seat when the 'swarm' comes.

We enjoy the premise of 3D shows and usually see all of them.

To the best of my knowledge it is identical to the WDW show.

It was pretty lame, I have to say. As mentioned above, only worth it if you want to take a break from the sun.

It has been years since I have seen it. For me, it does not seem to have the rewatch value that Muppets 3D does. I say, unless someone in your group is dying to see it... skip it. Nothing special, very outdated, and you could use this time to be doing something more fun. However, if you must go see it. I say go in the afternoon, when everything else is busy.

If you have never seen it, you definately should. It was very cool at one time and still is if you haven't seen it. Just try to ignore the late 80's fashions that everyone is wearing. If you watch the movies before going, you will know who the people are. That's another problem. I think many people these days haven't seen those movies.

They really need to change this show out..I'd pass.. Bring back Captain EO!!

It's good for the first couple of viewings, after that it's just mostly lame. lol They really should change that up, that show is old!!!!

I too would love to see the return of Captain E.O. :worship::banana:! Heck, they're bringing back President Lincoln for his 200th birthday, they can have a Captain E.O. anniversary show. Captain E.O. on YouTube

The "Honey" show isn't bad, it is a little lame but worth watching at least once. It really isn't that bad, there's a lot of little fun elements that still prove to be fun even if you've seen the show many times. I feel the same way about the Muppets show, it's lame but still fun.

It's Tough to be a Bug is the shortest of the 3D/4D shows (it think), but I feel it's the better one. Overall the Disney 3D shows are the best and far superior ones around - however the Terminator 3D show at Universal Studios Hollywood is very well made, and the main cyber villain is probably the best 3D illusion that I have seen.

Oh and, allowing the bugs to exit the theater before all humans I can tolerate even though it makes me feel a little violated =O, but the hornet stingers are awful and can be painful! I too lean forward in order to avoid it, it's a little strong.

Thanks for the link Grim. Now I remember why I didn't like it. (to start with, I've never been a fan of M.J.) That was worse than HISTA, IMO.

It is surprising how long they have left HISTA there. I know they will not bring back EO with all of MJ's recent troubles.

I love the Muppets 3D! I don't think it is lame at all. :rotfl:

anthing but HISTK will do. This is sooo outdated and so much more can be done now with new technology.
Give us a walle experience, cinderella anything at all. i have skipped this attraction for years.

I haven't seen the WDW one, but yes the DLR one is lame. It drastically needs an upgrade and isn't very entertaining, its something you do if your desperate for air conditioning and a chair.

Muppets 3D and Bugs life are so much better.
