Honestly... what are my chances of getting a LeCellier dinner in July?

My window doesn't open until Apr-30... but out of curiosity, I called Disney today to see if there was anything open for 90 days from now for dinner at LeCellier. Nope! Now, it was 2pm when I called, but it got me thinking,

What are my chances - when my window opens, of actually scoring a ADR at Le Cellier?

We check in July 29 to POFQ.... I've got 4 nights of my 7 that we could potentially do dinner there, so we are somewhat flexible, I just don't want to get my hopes up if the chance is slim.

I booked a dinner at 5:55 at Le Cellier for July 12. I called as soon as the lines opened on my call-in day. I had no problem getting any of my requests, including CRT at 8:05.

Obviously, it depends on the time you are hoping for (we eat early with my 3 year old!) and how many are in your party, but I was amazed at how easy it was to get what I was hoping for.

Good luck!

I really believe that Disney holds back tables for adrs that they open up on exactly 90 days. That was my experience with CRT for an 8:05 slot. Called before nothing, but on the day it was no problem.

I've never had a problem getting any ADR I wanted at the time I wanted when I've called first thing on the first day available to make ADRS (now 90 days out)

I used to work at Lecellier from July 2007 to June 2008. I booked ADRs for guests all the time and WE never held back any tables. Lecellier has very few tables to begin with and is very popular with the guests so it makes it hard to get an ADR. Best times to get an ADR though is Either 11:30 to 12:30 for Lunch or 4 to 5 for Dinner. If you have any questions let me know!!!

Thanks for the information DisneylandGuy. Do you mean that Le Cellier doesn't hold back table once it hits the 90 day (or first day to make ADR) mark - OR - do you mean that LeCellier opens all table at the 90+10 mark? I've heard that popular restaurants (like CRT) only open a few tables on each +10 day and then open all of the tables on the actual 90 day mark.

I would call for sure 90 days out and don't wait another day. In the morning if you can. Then you should have no problem. I've made several adr's for July in the last couple days on the 90th day for guests and a few days after that, but they are hard to find for dinner if you wait too long after that, especially for summer adr's.

Good luck and sprinkling some pixie dust for you!! :wizard:

Yes your chances of getting an ADR in July are good, if you call the day your window opens, in the morning but not to early (that has work for me always, around 10:00am) beacuse the earlier the more busy they are (IMHO).Just be flexibe with the time, I always ask for around "X" time for example if I want Le Celier at 6:00 pm I ask around 6 and maybe if 6 is not open they offer a 6:05 or a 6:15 and that has work every time. I did my ADR's last Saturday got everything I ask in less than 20 minutes on the phone and Im going in July 10-17 sooo :thumbsup2 Good Luck!!! your chances are GOOD!!!:hippie:

We have had luck, on several occasions, when we couldn't get a Le Cellier ADR, walking up in the 4-5 pm window (which in the summer is often right after the obligatory torrential rain that clears everyone out) and scoring a "no show" table.

I booked a lunch on July 5 just 2 days ago. I must say I was shocked I got it. I thought for sure Le Ceiller would be fully booked. So I would say if it is important to you just keep checking once your booking window opens up. You just never know, you may get lucky like I did.:goodvibes

Last time we went, I couldn't get dinner there, but got lunch at 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. (can't remember the exact time), so it was like having a really early dinner. Just a thought.....

I'd try to dates later in your trip too. Probably the earlier, the less chance there is an opening because of other people who've called earlier but took advantage of the +10 rule.

I booked LeCellier for July 16 5:40pm for a family of 5 on Sunday morning and I didn't get up and call right when WDWDine opened. I called several hours later, but still morning.

I think you have a very good chance of getting what you want if you call on your ADR day and have four different nights to chose from. I would start with the Le Cellier ressie first when talking to the CM, but I think you'll be just fine. We couldn't get dinner on our first choice night, but got it no problem on our second choice night in June.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much to ALL who replied! What terrific responses I got, very informative. Thanks so much!!!

We called at our 90 day mark first thing in the morning when they open which was April 2 and got just what we asked for. We eat at LeCellier on July 9 at the first time we asked for. It went like that with all thr ressies we asked for that morning. I don't think you'll have a problem.

our window open today canada is so hard got one night.
if you have the dinning plan you can call 10 days before. we did not.

I called first thing when lines opened and I got the day and time i wanted with no problem, she said i was lucky and good thing to call early... I think you have good chance...good luck!!!
