I have read some great reviews of it and it looks like a lovely place for dinner but my family is not sold on the menu. I want to do dinner there.

What are your honest thoughts on it? Thanks!

We've only done lunch there, but the food and service were wonderful. DH was prepared to hate it, but he loved it and wants to go back.

We go there every trip.

We tend to order the Table D'hote (sp) which includes a fench onion soup, rotisserie chicken/potatoes and creme brule for dessert. Reasonably priced, can't remember the price off hand though. prob 25/26$.

A friend just got back and he stated that the lobster bisque was the "best he ever had".

Check out allearsnet.com for prices and choices.

WE go every trip as well. We will either have lunch or dinner. We have never been disappointed.

I love Les Chefs de France, but I prefer it for lunch over dinner. During the day the room is bright and sunny (unless it's raining of course), things aren't as crowded and everything is just more relaxed. Check out the lunch menu, I prefer it to the dinner menu.

I also prefer it for lunch over dinner because the lunch menu has the quiche that I love- and they don't serve it at dinner.

Their onion soup is the best I've ever had- usually it's way too salty and greasy for me to eat.

They do a Chef's Menu for both lunch and dinner. Different meals for entrees, but soup and dessert are the same.

Really yummy- we'll be there for lunch during our next trip.

Enjoy!

We also like to have lunch here... I am a big fan of their quiche which isn't available at dinner. I also think this restaurant is a better value at lunch than at dinner, but that was when we were paying hard cash - haven't thought about it with the dining plan.

I agree with the other posters... great food and service!

We had a wonderful dinner at Chefs de France. However, we thought the menu looked great before we went. If your family doesn't think the menu looks appealing, you may not enjoy it as much as we did.

I was there on 3/25 for dinner. We typically get the French onion soup and a dessert for dinner (we're light eaters), but this time we just stuck with the soup. Delicious as always, and as another poster said, not overly salty. It's made with beef bouillon, and I think that makes a big difference in terms of flavor (all other onion soups I've had are just straight onion soup). My dad tried the lobster bisque this time and loved it. Their desserts are really good too every time I've eaten them. For me, CdF is a big :thumbsup2

We eat here every trip...either at lunch or dinner. Service can vary but the food has always been great.

:thumbsup2 I love a meal here of just the French Onion Soup and the ice cream puffs with chocolate sauce for dessert. Hey, if you throw in the filet; I like that too. We have NEVER had a bad meal here. I booked it during the free dining period.

We ate lunch at Chef's about 5 years (9 or 10 trips) ago - never went back. Food was OK, service was OK. There are so many restaurants at WDW (many in Epcot) that stand out for fabulous food and spectacular service I won't bother with just OK. Perhaps we hit an off day, but I'm not going back unless I hear about a major improvement... :confused3

I prefer lunch over dinner also....less hectic and great food choices... :goodvibes

I ate there for dinner last September and thought it was fabulous. The tartare was awesome and so was the creme brulee. The wait staff was very nice although a little on the slow side, but on the whole it was a lovely experience!

Some of the best food at WS. Excellent service as well.

One of my favorites at WDW and always try to get there on each trip. Absolutely beauitful with incredible Paris ambience. Another vote on the delicious french onion soup and the cream puffs with ice cream for dessert! Tried their baked gratin de macaroni last December at one of the Candelight Dinners and absolutely loved it.

We've eaten both lunch & dinner here and enjoy both equally well. Super friendly cast members who are very attentive to you and enjoy sharing stories of their native France. Four stars from me. :thumbsup2

We had dinner at Chefs last September (on the dining plan). We really enjoyed it. However, after reading about how much everyone likes it for lunch I think we'll try that next December. Since we won't be on the dining plan this trip I'm not trying to maximize my meal, so lunch is a great idea. Thanks!

I think my favorite thing about the restaurant was the room. It was so cheerful. Be warned, it is loud! But so cheery. It was a lot of fun!

We have lunch at Les Chefs de France on each trip. We haven't had dinner there in years, but their lunch is very good. :)
