DH and I will be in DL for one day only, June 5. We are celebrating our 16th anniversary. Tell me, honestly, how do you think the crowds will be on that Monday? I'm open to any game plans for the day. We have one day hoppers for DL and DCA. Help me out here, please!!!!

I really can't give you any idea since I've never been, but would just like to say Congratulations and we might cross paths that day, as we'll be there also! (Uh, and I'd love to know what some of the DL experts speculate for crowd size that day myself.)

Let's see, June 5th is a Mon. I think it'll be fairly busy, since school is out now. Plus all the extra added people going for the 50th. But I don't think it'll be insanely crowded. I'd just be sure to get fast passes for the rides you want to ride the most and do stand-by on the rest.

I wouldn't worry too much about the crowds. The majority of CA schools are still in session. Last Monday was a holiday and from most accounts, DL was not that busy. We went over this same weekend last year it it wasn't crowded at all - Sunday wasn't bad either. Oh, and congratulations. I'm two years behind you on the anniversary count - this month also.
I might add, we're going this weekend also and staying through Monday. Wouldn't have taken the kids out of school if I thought it would be crowded.

Thanks for the replies. We should be ok since we're just 2 adults, no kids. We're leaving them home. Hee, hee! I should feel guilty, but I don't!

Hey, we'll also be there that day celebrating our 16th anniversary and are leaving our 2 DS's with Grandparents! We were there the week of New Years and mid-March for Spring Break and encountered very heavy crowds during both trips. I'm expecting lower crowds this trip, but we'll see. We leave tomorrow, and I'm fairly shocked about the high temps forecast for this weekend! :sunny: We've been 2 other years in early June and needed jeans & jackets. This trip looks like shorts & tank tops!

That was going to be my next question: what's the weather supposed to be like? Guess I'll pack for hot!

Can I just say I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!! I need this trip so much! Thank heaven I have a husband who understands my need for a Disney fix!

It's going to be August type weather. DL forecast calls for mid-eighties while yahoo is saying low-nineties. Add another 5 degrees for all the asphalt and concrete in DL and it will be a scorcher. I'll be spending most of the afternoons at the pool.
