We like many others were torn between the Odyssey and Sienna. We opted for the Sienna because it was more comfortable. I felt like there was too much open space in the Honda. In the Sienna I felt cozy. It fit. I don't know how else to explain it. When I drove the loaded Honda I felt like I was in an empty car. It's hard to explain. Plus, the girl put me in a van with tan interior after I told her that I hated tan and it added to my not liking the van. I hate tan interior and will never have another can with tan interior again.
We do a lot of long drives to PA and Maine and my Sienna is wonderful. We got the XLE Limited AWD with Nav and DVD. We felt that we were going to be spending a lot of time in this van driving and we are going to have it for a very long time so why not have all the comforts.
The only thing that I don't like about it is that you can't control the dvd from the front seat (atl least I haven't figured out how to), the front passenger seat isn't powered, and 2nd row seats need to recline just a little further. Oh and it needs just a little more pickp like the Honda has. Other than that, I have no complaints.
By the way our van is a 2005.
