My sophomore DD has been forgetting homework assignments and tests *again*, so she gets crappy grades because she doesn't study. She did fine in her 1st semester but her 2nd semester is always more difficult for her. She will not use a paper school calendar but always has her phone with her so I was hoping to find an easy to use and motivating app for keeping track of homework, quizzes, tests, etc.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Any.do is great for apple. A montly cost is involved though. You can look it up on android and see if they have it!

Good luck to your daughter. My younger brother struggled to get organized his first year in hs, but once he did, his grades went through the roof! Just keep encouraging her and she'll be okay :)

She has an iPhone. I'll check out Any.Do!

She's a smart kid but she has been struggling with organization for quite a long time. I looked at any.do and it looks a bit ... sterile to me. Also, I don't need to know when she has things due. I want to step out of the role of homework/test nag and allow her to be responsible for her own education. She's going to college in 2 short years and I won't be there to ask her if she has homework or a test.
