Homework help needed, mine

Ok, my assignment is to find current data about the increase of medical school applicants. Then I have to give my opinion on that increase and support it.

I have been looking but the only information I find is the old data the book already has, and some data stating that the admissions for general sugery has gone down.

I've tried google, and the virtual library the school has, but I haven't had any luck. Now, I may not be looking in the right places, I don't know. I'm new to this homework thing.
