Anyone stayed here yet? It's brand new. I'm trying to decide between Homewood and Hampton? I'm not sure if Hampton's oceanfront would be better or the newness of Homewood.

We stayed there last week before our cruise. The room was nice & spacious. The kitchen area had a full size fridge, sink, microwave and dishwasher. I can't remember if the stove top was 2 or 4 burner, but there was no oven. Cabinets were stocked with plates, utensils and basic cooking pans.

The sitting room had a pullout couch bed, ottoman, two end tables, three lamps, and two chairs. There were a small table with three chairs dividing the kitchen from the sitting area. The tv stand had drawers for storage. The bedroom had a two chairs and a desk. Plenty of drawers on the tv stand also.

In the bathroom, the sink area opened from the room. Plenty of counter space with three drawers. There was a closet with ironing board & iron also. The toilet and shower had a door. There was a cabinet for towels above the toilet.

Parking was easy, even when it seemed packed ($6 daily parking fee). Wi-fi was free.

The kids enjoyed the pool & basketball half-court - they even met some kids that were on our cruise beforehand there. There is a a lot of outdoor seating and a designated smoking section away from the pool. We enjoyed breakfast outside. There is a bar outside of the pool area, but it seemed to only be open a few hours in the evening. Drink specials were M-Thurs.

The breakfast offerings included bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs (cold), waffles (Mickey & regular), cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, hash browns, sausage toast, bagels and other pastries. Milk, oj, apple and cranberry juices were available.

The lobby had a little suite shop that includes snacks, drinks and toiletry items. There is a laundry room and fitness center.

If location is important, the hotel is located just over the bridge. We were at the Port Canaveral exit in about 2 minutes from pulling out of the hotel. When we went into the Cocoa Beach area and saw some of the other hotels, dh mentioned being glad that we didn't stay further into town because of the traffic on the way back to the hotel. We were able to see the Royal Caribbean ships from the hotel windows & when outside.

Also, they do participate in the Park and save promo. They are not on the current list, but I called and asked beforehand. You just tell them at checkout that you need a 40% off coupon. And, we were able to get two no problem, as we were in two cars.
