Has anyone ever stayed at the Homewood Suites LBV? It seems to have everything we need for our Oct/Nov 2011 stay. Free hot breakfast, 1-br suite, with kitchenette, 1 mile from Disney with free shuttle transportation, free internet and free parking. The icing on the cake is that the AAA rate is less than $100/night. Really sounds to good to be true, so I would love to hear pros and cons from anyone that has stayed at this property before. Thanks so much for your help!

Hope you have a fabulous trip my3apsons! I would love to hear your thoughts on Homewood Suites when you return from your trip.

I would stay in Homewood Suites again in a heart beat. A clean hotel with huge rooms. We had a two bedroom suite and it was perfect. The kitchen was clean and huge with a wonderful living room area.

The breakfast was plenty for us. The waffles were great, the bacon was better then at Disney. Fresh fruit, ect ect. We were not there for the evening mini meals but if breakfast was a clue then I bet that would be awesome also.

The pool isn't very large but it also was not crowded, we were there on a Saturday night. The hot tub was fantastic and great after the long drive we were on.

I would stay here again.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Glad to hear you had a nice trip, I am really looking forward to our October trip.

My friends and I stayed there for 2 nights back in March. We LOVED it. We had 3 adults and 3 children and there was enough room. We ran into a couple of hitches but worked around them. The table only has 2 chairs so we put the 2 little boys there to eat (3 and 4) and the older boy and the adults at either at the desk or sitting in the living room. There were also only enough dishes for 4 people, but I'm sure you can ask for more. We just kept some from the meals so we had extra.
The breakfast was great..plenty to choose from. My friend went down and brought trays of food up to the room while the rest of us slept. We had eggs, bacon. cereal, juice, fruit, yogurt and cute little Mickey Mouse waffles. We ate one of the dinners and it wasn't the best in the world, but the kids ate it and it was free. It was meatloaf the night we ate down there. The other night we were there was a Sunday so they didn't offer it.
There is a walmart nearby and I've read that there's a Winn Dixie, but I'm not sure where that is. The drive to Disney wasn't bad at all. You will need a car to stay here. Nothing's close enough to really walk to, but there are restaurants and such that are a close drive.
The staff was great. When we asked for something (more dishsoap, help with the DVD player, change for the washer) we got it quickly. Everyone was friendly.
The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this place. We will stay there again. In fact myself and another set of friends are staying there the 10th-12th of this month. It's so worth it!
