the prom drama thread had the gal paying $200 for make up (for the sole purpose of prom)(though I don't spend $200 for make up.............ever)...........should I be very glad to have boys? or is this as outrageous as I think it is?

(this particular gal lives in NYC..............but still )

I buy some of my makeup at the department stores (most at Target or CVS) and I never spend that much!!
