I'm not quite sure where to post this, sorry if it's the wrong place.
I'm so homesick for Walt Disney world right now! this time last year I was getting everything ready for our 2 week trip. This year I am now stuck in work, with no holidays planned as of yet . Just been watching videos of the magic kingdom and it's made me miss the place all the more.
my feancee and I have decided to get married in Walt disney world, but that won't be 'till around 2 years from now. We will probably not be able to return before then. The thought of having to wait another 2 years to go "home" makes me sad :( .
However, I am more excited than I can possibly describe for the time when we return. I will be marrying the most amazing man and having the wedding of my dreams! :love: I'm sure all the planning I have to do will keep me busy, but the wait will be excruciating.
This post does have a point, I promise! haha.
I was just wondering, in regards to choosing a wedding date, what month would you say would be best to have a disney wedding? I want it to be hot but also I would like the probability of rain to be low. I have been to Disney numerous times but only during the hurricane season so I have no knowledge of what the weather is like other months . It would be just my luck that it would pour down on my big day.
Anyway, I shall finish this mini essay ( XD ) and just say that any help would be much appreciated :)

We got married in WDW July 8, 2009 and the weather was perfect. Warm but with a slight breeze.

We got married on June 20, 2011 at Disney. It was perfect. The heat actually didn't bother me at all... and we had no rain! :goodvibes

It was perfect even if it did rain it still would have been perfect!

My best friend is getting married down there this July, so I'll compare the months difference.

How about during the the Flower and Garden festival.. imagine the photos you would be able to get!! Usually held from March to May :) Might be on the cooler side temperature wise but at least you and your groom won't be sweating!

What a great idea about the flower festival!

Well, I don't have any particular feedback regarding a good time for a wedding, but I can empathize with your longing. My mother & I used to watch the Christmas parade on TV & 3 years running immediately booked a trip, having had no plans to do so when we woke up that morning!

So, I recommend putting on your Mickey ears, popping some Disney music on your player, cooking up some Mickey-shaped pasta & planning a wonderful vacation.
::yes::

We live a few hours away, and my husband is a professional photographer who does a lot of weddings in the area. I would take an April/May or Sept/Oct date over Summer.

All the best
