We'll mainly be in the dining room, and I want to do up the walls like a regular classroom. (our son is 4 = Pre-K)

Where do you get those cute cutout posters and pin ups for seasons & holidays, borders for the wall etc.???

I saw Oriental Trading has some things but not a lot.
I am getting a cute little weather chart from them.

Thanks a bunch fellow Homeschoolers! :)

The only things we have on our walls is a money poster, a pocket chart and a map. We hang lots of their work up. I get my stuff from teacher stores. Also staples and target often have stuff like that. I have had most of my stuff from when I did teach school.

Find your nearest teacher supply store. They will have everything you need and then some. Have fun!!

I am not a home schooler, but I did teach kindergarten and first grade. I always got my items from teacher supply stores, Oriental Trading, scholastic, or my favorite, Lakeshore Learning. The highest quality is Lakeshore but they are also a little more money. They have wonderful manipulatives. Target has some great pocket charts in their dollar spot.

I have also run into quite a few things at the Dollar store...job chart, weather graph, math charts, maps, general classroom type items.
