Hi, Im getting ready to homeschool my son and I would love a list of cool homeschooling websites. Im trying to compile all the information I can. Im looking for website containing information on homeschooling to educational websites that we can use during the school day. Im looking forward to hearing from everybody. Thanks.

You didn't say how old your son is or what state you live in. We are in PA and there is a great site called pahomeschoolers.com. Although we have a curriculum in place I love to supplement t with some awesome online site especially the following:

I'll bump the homeschooling thread. It's got tons of info, but you'll have to wade through a bit. We're a pretty friendly bunch though! My oldest dd is doing 4th this year as well.

I have to recommed time4learning.com it is $19.95 a month for one child, but it is the best most informative, easy to use and informational and fun lesson plan I have come across either on-line or from books

I love www.puzzlemaker.com. It's through the discovery channel website (I think). You can create word searches and crossword puzzles and more. I found it when I was teaching in public school, and I use it now that I'm homeschooling . I've also been writing a blog about our experiences (www.adventuresinhomeschooling.blogspot.com). I've been including lessons and ideas as I go .
