Sorry if this has been asked before recently!

If purchasing Homeschool tickets (Ind Enrollment), are you able to make FP+ 60 days out? I did a search and some were saying no, that you pick up the tickets there so no advance FP+; others were saying if you order them at least 6 weeks in advance they are mailed so you are able to link them on MDE; still other posts said you get an email with a code that can be linked in MDE.

Anyone have a current report on how this works? Thinking about it for next year as it would save us a ton and my oldest kiddos would enjoy a class, but it's not worth the savings if we can't make advance FP+.

Thanks! :)

The only way currently to book FP 60 days out is to have both of the following:

1) an onsite stay 60 days away, and
2) purchased tickets for that onsite stay.

See the green link in my signature for answers to this and other FP FAQs.

I had no clue there were separate home school tickets. Can you point me to a thread or an article about this? My sis will be homeschooling my niece and nephews starting next year. We already have a package booked but would love to read up on this program.

I'm aware of all the rules and strategies; we were onsite with FP+ in Jan. My question is, assuming onsite res, are purchased HS tix able to be linked to MDE in advance or is it some sort of voucher that prevents one from linking them on MDE until picking them up in the World.

I didn't see anything about HS tix (or military tix or other such special discount tix) in your linked post, sorry if I missed it.

Thanks.

There isn't any info there for these special cases--I haven't seen enough of them yet to figure out what to say. :)

Like the PP, I have no experience with HS tickets and how they work.

Good luck! :goodvibes

You do not actually need to be a homeschooler to purchase the tix (only my oldest is HSd), anyone interested in their child participating in an educational class is able to purchase them. The classes have age requirements and are only offered certain times of the year, and you would buy those separately from a package so you'd need to book a room only res (e.g. if you have a free dining pkg booked you can't take advantage of the HS tix because FD requires a pkg with tix, not room only - you'd need to calculate which is a better savings.)

Here's the link, just select WDW and Individual Enrollment :)
