Would just like to add for everyone having a difficult time finding a postcard, I had the same problem in WDW. They only have 5 or so postcards available for purchase at any given store. Sometimes not even that many. I thought it was a no brainer when I offered to send postcards from WDW. Who knew even they're cutting back.

I do not know what to do. I have been to every store that I can think of, and no one has NC postcards for sale. I checked the following: Walmart, Target, Harris Teeter (our grocery store), CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, Borders book store, Exxon, PetroExpress/PetroMart (?), UPS store, and PostNet (the mail store). Today I went to our Carolina Panthers vs. Buffalo Bills (We lost. ) game and even checked the Panthers team store thinking they would have even a stadium postcard. NOT ONE of these places have had a postcard. I would be happy to send you one, but I just do not know where to find one. Any suggestions?
I asked at every place too. The workers have all said, "We used to have them." No one sells them anymore.

I haven't been able to find an Arkansas postcard yet but my DH is going to look tomorrow. I thought I had a few at my house, but I don't. I checked my Wal-Mart as well as two gas stations with no luck. DH is going to check a few places he thinks might have them tomorrow. Sorry it is taking me so long. I can't believe how hard they are to find. I guess no one wants to send anyone a postcard telling them they are in Arkansas.

not sure if you are southern CA, but I'm northern CA...if you want one from the top of the state let me know.

We've done this for my girl scout troop and gots lots of countries too, such fun.

If you can't get North Dakota let me know I'll work on DH's family and see if I can wrangle them for you

I wanted to add that I am in the Charlotte area. I thought that would be a popular spot and easy to find a postcard. It is not like we are out in the middle of the woods! If another DISer is in the mountain area of NC_ near Boone, Blowing Rock, Asheville, etc. - maybe they can find one since that is a popular tourist destination. There may be some by the coast, too. I just do not know where else I can look around me. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I found one for SC in a general store in Ft Mill. I called and asked before running over there.

Do they have postcards at the Welcome Centers? I know there is a NC one on I77 just across the state line past Westinghouse.

After this weekend, I will defintely call and check before driving anywhere else. The welcome center is a thought! I wonder how I could call them first.......... How could I get a number for them?

I know the SC Welcome center is listed in the phone book. That was going to be my next call if the Peach Stand didn't have them.

I go through this every time I need postcards for something. I have had best luck at CRACKER BARREL of all places. I did find some by pure chance in downtown local bookstore.

My neighbor stopped by about an hour ago to drop something off. She told me that she was on her way to Concord Mills. I asked her to check there for me. Concord is a big tourist place because of the Nascar/Speedway. Maybe there will be a postcard there. If she doesn't find one, I will try to find the NC welcome center phone number. The Cracker Barrel that we go to is actually in SC, near SC Minnie. That wouldn't help much.

My neighbor found a postcard today! YEAH! She found it in the candy store in Cocord Mills of all places. I will get it from her tomorrow (She is going to be out late tonight.) and have it in the mail to you by Wednesday.

I plan to mail the postcard today. You did PM me with the address, but there is no zip code on the address. Please send it to me so that I can mail the postcard.
For any of the other DISers that have already mailed your card, maybe you can PM me the zip code. That is all I need. I have the rest of the address.
Is it possible that OP did not include the zip code because it is not needed since the address is a P.O. Box?
