A friend had given me a recipe for a hot chocolate mix a few years ago. It was wonderful! I have misplaced the recipe and my friend got divorced and moved away about two years ago. I would love to find a recipe similar to it again. Tis the time of year to start snuggling and drinking hot chocolate.:goodvibes :love2: puckerup:  :love
I remember that it was all dry ingredients that you mixed together in a LARGE container. The ingredients that I do remember or at least think I remember are: coffee, powder sugar, nestle quick powder, coffee creamer ...I know there was more! Can anybody help a sappy gal find the recipe? I have searched the net with no luck yet. Thanks in advance!!!

Here are a couple I found:

Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar

6 1/2 cups powdered milk
1 (5 ounce) package non-instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup powdered chocolate drink mix
1/2 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1. In a large bowl, combine powdered milk, chocolate pudding mix, chocolate drink mix powder, creamer, confectioners' sugar, and cocoa. Divide the mixture between two 1 quart jars. Seal, and decorate as desired. These can be stored in a dry area for up to 3 months.
2. Attach a tag with the following instructions: Hot Cocoa: Dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa mix in 1 cup boiling water.

Thanks so very much Margie J!!! I will try these and see how they are! I can't wait to get started on them. This just proves that Disney folks are the most helpful!

here is a simple one that is the best !

- premium unsweetened powdered cocoa. 2 tablespoons or to taste. I like mine strong and rich.

- 2 tablespoons of white surgar or to taste.

- 1 cup of milk. 2 % or to taste.

heat on low and stir until it starts to boil and let it sit for about 5 minutes with the burner off. but make sure it does not burn..mmmmmmmm.

tip. prestir cocoa into a little bit of cold milk to disolve. and then add more milk in later. this could also be a little bit of water.

if you mix a little half and half cream in it will make it richer.

like I said.. I like it rich and strong.... MMMMM. a must try.

this was passed on to me by a ship mate (cook) when I was in the navy.

Making a shopping list for hubby to take with him to work tomorrow. Got my mouth watering already!!!
