Homecoming Florida Kitchen reservation times question

Anyone know why reservations can only be made around two time periods, 5pmish & 9pmish, after October 27th? I've been trying for weeks to book a reservation around 7:30pm during our upcoming trip, Oct 29-Nov 9, and many are available around that time up until October 27th, and then after that, only the two time periods I posted above are available. I've googled looking for the answer, but can't seem to find one.

I would try on Open Table to get a reservation at other times

Open Table is a great idea, however I don't see it as an option on Open Table. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried Open Table and it isn't listed. Guess I'll just keep checking MDE, and hope things change!

I had a similar issue and read elsewhere that they're currently not offering ADR's during that time period.

We went mid-August and I had booked one of the 9:30PM reservations on Aug 15 (I REALLY wanted to eat here ) and kept checking. The day before (so Aug 14) I checked MDE and there was actually a 7:45 reservation available, so I switched our time and it all worked out. That's always an option...or book a reservation and then go to the hostess stand and ask if there's any way to get in earlier. Good luck, it's so worth it!

we had same issue for sept 2. we just ended up going as a walk-in and were seated immediately at about 730p. it wasn't very busy.

Open Table is a website where you can book dining reservations. I've booked Yak & Yeti through it, and I know there are many other Orlando area/Disney World restaurants listed, that aren't Disney owned. Not sure why you couldn't use it in the UK. Give it a try!

Not sure if it's me you're asking, but I was able to book a reservation through MDE for between 4:30 & 5, or after 9pm, and I called to try to book a 7:30ish reservation, with no luck, for any date between October 29-November 9th. I was told to just keep looking online for other times to open up; that they had no other info, as usual.

If I can't get the time I want, I'm definitely going to try doing a walk up around 7:30pm on our arrival day. We're staying at POFQ, so it will be just a boat ride over. If we can't get in there at that time, I'm sure we'll find somewhere else to eat.
