Do you have any home videos?

I've been watching a bunch of home videos lately. (the one I have on now is from my 3rd birthday. We were having breakfast at Chef Mickey's) When I was telling my BFF about them, she said she doesn't have home videos. Her parents apparently never had any interest in filming things. I was SHOCKED to hear this!

Am I the freak here, or is it normal to have home videos?
Secondly, do they even sell VHS's anymore?

its funny because my parents video taped every little thing i ever did because i was the first born.
but by the time my three bothers were born, they were over it, i guess.
so there isn't much of them.
so yeah, its normal.
we have tons of videos.

Omg we have SOOO many home videos! I love to watch them.
They always make me laugh, especially the ones when I was a baby, because the way my parents talked to me cracks me up.
My parents video taped EVERYTHING when my brothers and I were younger.
We have a video of when we went to Disney World in 96, I love it! Collin looked like a little girl, because he had long curly blonde hair. lol
My parents also video taped almost everything I did for the first 6 months of my life. That's my FAVORITE video though, because it makes me realize how much my family loved me.

I also have soooo many home vids!
My parents taped everything!
:D
I actually now wanna go watch my disney trip footage from when I was 5! :goodvibes

I have a few, but not many.
My parents took BILLIONS of pictures, though. They just weren't as into filming things.

We dont have any videos at all but we have a ton of pictures.

lolol
my home videos are hilarious

they are all so violent!
it like me my brother and sister atacking eachother.
pushing eachother in pools. kicking eachother. throwing things
we have when my brother broke my sisters arm on tape
and when my sister threw a picture frame at my brothers eye then needed stitches. lmao

My dad filmed almost every second of our first 4 trips to WDW. I'm sure there's loads more, but those are the ones I remember.

As a funny coincidence, I was just watching You've Been Framed and was about to comment on it on the Random thread, then saw this thread :p

Yup, tons of videos. I'm not sure if they sell empty VHSes anymore, however I'm having difficulty finding a VCR. I suppose there must be some sort of correlation between the two. :)

Ohmygosh, tons and tons of videos. My favorite is the one of my mom giving birth to me! There was a lot of like obscure family members in the waiting room and stuff, people who have never ever come to see me. Oh, but they were all excited about my birth! Right.

And then there's one with me and my cousin eating cereal and I tell her to stop playing with my toys or something (I was about 4). The cutest thing ever, I swear.

OH! In one I'm putting those little alphabet magnets on the refrigerator and spelling out words.

My dad took a ton of video from out 2000 and 2001 (I was 8 and 9) WDW trips. Not to gloat, but I was the freaking most adorable little kid ever. I have pictures from those trips around here somewhere that I'll have to scan and show you guys.

My mom never had a video camera, so my mom just stuck to pictures. :)

However, we do have 2 home videos of my sister. One is of her 1st birthday and the other is a Halloween party from when she was 8/9 years old. I love watching that one.

We have home videos.
I can only bear to watch the Disney ones.
I..can't even watch the other ones. It's too painful. (Painful meaning..embarrassing!!! )

We have a quite a few.
I have one of me from my playgroup when I was about 1.
Two videos of me during Gymboree classes, 1 1/2.
Opening presents on Christmas, 2.
Dancing, 2.
Playing with my cousins, 2 1/2.
5th birthday party, 5.
Graduating from preschool, 5.
Acting like a crazy kid in a hotel, 6. xD
Doing a bunch of silly stuff with my sister and her friend, 9.
And I think that's it. I love watching them.

We have a bunch! Alot of blackmail ones too of me in the bathtub at like 2-3 years old.
But I do love to watch them. I was such a weirdo back then!

My dad used to tape us. It was on beta tapes mostly though so we can't watch them. We were taped being born and my dad told my mom he was going to get them converted so she gave them to him and of course we never got them back because everything given to my dad disappears and never returns.

I do have one of us in San Francisco when I was 2 going on 3. I remember bits of that trip but it's nice to have it on video. That one I can actually watch.

I get sick watching them though because of the movement. Motion sickness sucks.

No, you're not crazy. :P

My mom literally taped and snapshot every moment in our lives. We have 10s of thousands of pictures, thousands of hours of tapes.

My dad tapes every holiday and birthday. My mom takes A lot of pictures. On are last Disney trip my mom came home with 2000 pictures. :) :) :) :)
