We get to go home for Christmas! 12/18 - 12/23. Opinion on the Merry Member Mixer on December 22, should we attend? We've never attended one. It will be myself, my husband and DD 9 years old. Thanks!

If you are in Epcot that day you should try to go. If nothing else you will get a nice DVC ornament. They have character photo ops and a DJ that puts on a fun dance party for the kids. We are going to the one on Dec 1.

Yes you should go, something different, you can leave if you don't care for it and you paid for it through your dues.

My thoughts are that you should try everything at least once.

Worth planning your EPCOT visit for that day, IMO. In addition to the photo opportunities and the dance party, you will each get a drink and a treat. In past years, I remember Holiday-themed brownies, cookies, rice krispie treats, etc. Choices seem to be different each year. I liked the ornament, too, although IMO, they are too heavy to hang on most tress.
