We have an ADT home security system. For the past year and a half it's been one problem after another. To get a technician to the house takes a minimum of one week (usually two) which usually isn't that big a deal except with this latest problem something is wrong at the panel and the alarm beeps a problem/low battery throughout the day (usually at 2 am or 5 am). We changed out the battery, followed all ADT instructions and it's still broken. A technician was supposed to come out yesterday between 12-5. Sat around all day waiting and finally called only to find out some manager said a different type of technician had to come out but no one notified us. I'm tired of ADT. Poor customer service and it takes too long to get someone to fix problems. Was hoping that I can get some recommendations for another company so I can make the switch. Thanks!

A previous rental house had xfinity home on it. We never had a problem with it and it was bundled into our cable/wifi bill. I think you could check the camera remotely, but we never did that. They also different techs for the home service then the cable service. So when we did have a problem it was handled within 36 hours of calling them.

We were signed up to get this put in on Friday with the Xfinity Triple Play. But then looked online and could not find a single positive review on this system, so we cancelled it. You haven't had any issues with this?

We have had SimpliSafe for almost a year and love it, no issues. $24.99/month!

I have FrontPoint for about the last two months and I really like them. Their system is wireless and you install it yourself (like Simplisafe). I pay $42.99 a month so I can do everything on my cell phone or on the computer.

I had an old hard wired system that finally died when we were on vacation. The outside horn went off without alarming the system. We called our vendor and they didn't do anything until our neighbor called them, too, since the noise was awful.

We just got Simplisafe a few weeks ago after our house was burglarized. so far, we love it and have had no problems. Works great and we feel safe again!

It was about $300 for the system (easy to install) and we pay $14.99 a month for monitoring.

Nope. We were in the house for six months. The one time we had an alarm go off, the police we're disbar he'd because they couldn't not get a hold of my boyfriend (the primary) turns out someone had tried to bust our back door but was gone before the police got there.
