Home Run Hotel @ All-Star Sports Refurbishment

I just got back from All-Star Sports and Home Run Hotel is the only section that has been refurbished.I was fortunate enough to stay there and it was SO nice!They are now working on Touchdown!.I literally watched them refurb some rooms in Touchdown! day by day from beginning to end and they were placing Guests in those rooms yesterday.It was really interesting to watch the process.

Awesome! Thanks for the update! Welcome back and sorry you had to leave! I stayed in the Touchdown building back in January and would love to get a refurb'd room in that building in October!

The rooms are COMPLETELY refurbished-new televisions,carpet,furniture,beds,headboards,matresses,bedspreads,curtains,shower curtain,etc!They even changed the shower curtain rod so that it now curves out away from the tub creating more space in the shower/tub.The room still smelled new.

Thanks for this information. We are going in November and i requested Hoops because we stayed there last time and liked it, but maybe I'll change my request to home run.
If you have any pix, it would be great to see them!

Update: Just phoned Disney reservations and then the All Stars sports front desk and got a total run around. No one knows anything or will reveal any info. Surprising how confidential this info is!
