Home resort wait list

Just requested a 3 bedroom villa at my home resort (OKW) on the first week of availability and was wait listed. Is this common? I have owned DVC since 1997 and this is the first time I was waitlisted. How long has everyone else waited before getting confirmation? Has anyone else made a request this far out and not gotten accommodations?

For December, for a GV at OKW, not surprising.

I would keep checking as well as people may be trying to walk it into Xmas week?

December is such a busy DVC time. The length of your waitlist will make a difference as well. The more nights you need the harder it will be.

Only looking for 4 nights, mid week in the beginning of the month. Really thought I would have no issues, but I was mistaken.

First week is really busy. I ended up going 2nd week just because I got SV at RIV vs PV!
