You have to admit it is rather funny!

I've emailed my Virgin Weddings co-ordinator and I'm going to sit back and see what she says. At least we know you're definitely at 1pm Jen - which is fine by me as I really want to get married at 3 - it fits better with our plans. As long as I don't end up with the 11am slot ;0)

Anyway - enough of the might be bad news - now you're registered tell me all about your plans! After all we've picked the same day and the same spot for our weddings :0) How many guests are you having? Are you using DIS photography? What cake did you pick? Which flowers? Have you got your dress yet?

Oh so many questions... I just love Disney weddings

Panic over - my co-ordinator just got back to me and we are indeed booked in for 3pm. Hooray :0)

I wonder if I'd have time to bomb over to the Poly to see Jen and then get back to the AKL to get ready... not likely I suppose - I might catch you later in the day though :0)

Cool stuff, woo-hoo, R-J so glad that you got the time you wanted and what a good job that jenm2878 mentioned about her wedding otherwise you may not have checked, btw that is the date that I am flying back home from WDW so I'll be able to imagine you both getting married at such a beautiful location.

I'm so happy everything worked out for you! To answer your questions, we are having 15 people come down with us and will go to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show for our "reception." I think we might head over to the Boardwalk afterwards to get ice cream (I think we might manage to get through the kitchen sink with 15 people ) My matron of honor's husband is a professional photographer, so he will be taking our pictures. I've had my dress before I had my proposal - LOL - we've been together nearly eight years so I knew it was coming. Cake will be marble with white chocolate mousse, and flowers will be pink and white roses. Did I answer everything? Did you get your dress yet? What flowers/cake did you pick? Again, I'm soooo glad everything worked out you!!

Your plans sound great - I'm thinking of tackling the kitchen sink at some point during the trip too

I picked out my dress - it's gold and a great big puffball number - kinda reminds me of Belle's dress only it's not yellow!
I've picked the red rose bouquet - and I think we're having the chocolate cake with buttercream... Now we just gotta pick the music...

For some reason, the music was the hardest part for me too! It really limits your options trying to figure out what a violinist can play. My matron of honor has a beautiful voice and I'm trying to convince her to sing for our first dance. Hopefully she'll agree.

Our first dance ws to Promise. It is the "Kiss Goodnight" from Illuminations. The song just suits us.

We are full of suggestions , but if you post what you are thinking of, I am sure we will try to help you choose...

Wow! That would be great having your MOH sing for you - it would make it really special.

My problem with the music is that I see a list of Disney songs and think - wow I love that song, and that one, and that one... there are just too many! I really must try and tie it down this weekend... in fact i may post what i think and get some help and advice from you guys :0)

Sorry to post two posts in a row but I have an update... got home from work yesterday to find a letter from the receivors from the original venue... and a cheque for £150! Full reimbursement of our deposit - hooray - I'm going to bank it quick :0)

Now just have to pay the deposit on the new place before they give the room to someone else.

I love it when a plan comes together :0)
