I never got a negative response when I was pregnant, but my sister did, so I think you're doing the right thing by going to the doctor. Good luck and keep us posted. It took us a year and half of trying before we had DD, so I well remember all of those mornings with those tests and the disappointment I would feel each time it showed a negative.

I am sorry you didn't get the answer this morning that you were looking for. Definitely go to the dr. and get a blood test. Tell them when you ovulated, what your normal cycle is like, that you are this many days late, etc. They will run a beta, and if it is a higher number (upper 2 digits, or depending on where you are, in the 3 digits) they will have you come back for a 2nd beta to make sure they are doubling. They will test progesterone, etc.
